Very nice little truck 👍👍

I was born in 1956. When my father brought me and my twin brother home from the hospital. This is exactly what he drove . He celebrated our arrival with a brand new car. He kept that car until 1965. I was attached to the car I did not want to see it go! This car is the exact color as the one my father had. I remember getting behind the wheel and would imagine I was driving her. If I ever come across one of these I’m buying it and will do the restoration work if necessary.

'62-'68, the most stylish of the T-Birds! The finest cars ever. Rank with the 1980's Chrysler Cordoba! Since 1990 cars began to look like 1990 Toyota Corona's. Now only the Ford Mustang is sharp. Dodge Challenger's and Charger's were even in later years but now they've shifted to EV's and automatic driving, wholly negating their appearance. Lot's of SUV's today plus way, way too many freak'n Pick-Up Trucks that don't haul anything.

Several years ago I built a 54 five window Chev 1/2 ton with a 235. Cam, shaved head and an aluminum 2 barrel intake, headers, Saginaw 4 speed blazer rearend. It sounded like a big block at idle. Sure wish I had it now.

I have one of the first Ford Mustangs , any of you guys interested ? Build 3 April 1964 .

There are no 1964 1/2 Fastbacks! 1964 1/2 Mustangs are only cars produced from March to July 1964. Only Coupes and Convertibles can be identified as 1964 1/2 cars. The Fastback version came later in the year.

Only the pre August cars are the 64 1/2s. There are also no 64 1/2 fastbacks as they only started the fastbacks after august.

no 64.5 fastback, ford came out with the fastback in mid year, plus all 64.5 mustangs had generators not alternators, and color keyed lock knobs not chrome like this car has. nice try.

I also noticed the car has an alternator on it - ONLY the. 1964 1/2. models had generators on them . Sorry about that !!!

Nice car but it’s not a 64 1/2. Besides the 2+2 issue, it’s a nice restoration but a mishmash in some areas. The instrument cluster is ‘66, the door panels are “Pony interior” but the seats aren’t, neither is the steering wheel.

There are no such thing as a 1964 1/2 fastback. 1964 1/2 cars was built before June/July 1964 The first fastback was introduced in August 1964

Besides being a 2+2 it has an alternator, 1965 production NOT 1964 1/2. This stuff is so easy to look up…in a BOOK!

Only the coupe and convertible body style can be classified as 64 1/2. All fastbacks were 65s
