Sometimes the algorithm scares me. I haven't come back to this cover in a while but here it is again in my feed after both the AfterTime announcement and seeing Styx just last week Amazing cover too. I love this era of Styx and those harmonies were wonderful.

Some constructive criticism - you need to support your voice more. Especially the beginning felt weak and flat (musically, not tonally). It also felt a little auto-tuned? It's okay if you're not perfectly on pitch all the time - it actually makes it sound better.

@@Spivonious This was the very first cover I ever recorded. Since then, I’ve grown so much vocally. Is this performance perfect? No. Would I sing it differently now? Yes. But it’s where I was when I was just starting out (over 5 years ago).

Great song, great voice but objectively and constructively, the voice should match the style of the music. Needs gutsy, robust, biting vocals. Though I applaud her making it her own. This song is gritty, dark, and mysterious. The vocal quality is too broadway musical and this is metal. Her voice is beautiful…but not the style I would’ve paired w/a heavy rock sound like this Dio sung Rainbow classic. I did like and subscribe.

This just popped into my recommended, and boy I'm glad it did! I absolutely adore this song, and this cover 100% does it justice. Your voice is downright angelic, and the instrumentation is wonderful as well!
