I thought that producing cheaply and selling expensively was the domain of our times, that cars and campers from the 1970s and 1980s were indestructible, but from what you say, it has always been like that. Worst cars...? In what Way? A Studebaker lark with proper rust protection could last you a life time.. It also sold very well in its first years. The same could be said about the Catalina or the Buick, extremely comfortable cars at that. Try to make a video on a subject on which you have at least SOME knowledge...growing vegetables perhaps?

I dont undetstand why you are comparing these base models of these autos. Its like a Biscayne is the plane jane of the Impalas. Some people had reasons or just preferred the base models. Some people liked the styling of a car but could not afford the highest end of that vehicle so they would get a base model. We bought a Chevrolet Camaro in 1970 for my sisters 16th birthday. It looked good but it only had I think the weakest engine and the most basic styling of the Camaro. But it was still a looker and my dad didnt want my sister driving a dangerous car which in his eyes were the most powerful muscle but he wanted my sister to have a good looking car. So, he got her a csmaro but it wasnt the fastest by any means.

Not these days! They betrayed the overwhelming majority of Cadillac fanciers by bonding to the SUV craze, but Worse, discontinuing their mainstay solid selling Sedans ,such as the Sedan de Ville, and Park Ave. Today they’re selling some Escalades, but Laid an Egg the size of a watermelon when they went full- in with those dumb advised EV’s !! The Cadillac Motor Division needs to be reborn, and it’s first Great Step will be the ouster of Mary Barra, who I view as the Cheadle Of Cadillac, for her many poor decisions , and in replacing her with an alert person ( ok ! I’ll say it : “Guy” who knows and loves cars especially Cadillacs and giving him the resources he need with a team of GM ( or outside Designers and Mechanical Engineers to Do The Job ! And I’ll be the first happy customer to come back!

The 1963 Dodge Dart was a COMPACT car and the Phoenix was discontinued in 1962. The cars you showed were all 1962 models except the Dart which was a 1976!!!!
