Hello, 2 questions. Is it ok to make 1 litre, even if it takes me a couple of years to use up, or should I just make 200ml each time? Confirmation for 1 Litre: 666ml H2O + 333ml IPA + 15ml Flow + 15ml Retarder. Correct?

Those Hasegawa Tritool and Tamiya scribing templates are lifesavers for all the different-shaped maintenance panels on aircraft.

Hi Bob. I was recently given an old Frog Shackleton kit and thi is a sea of raised rivets and panel lines. I have decide and begun to remove all of the surface detail. Now I would like to put some back on but I don't want to go mad on it. On the real thing some of the rivets were raised but I won't bother with that , there is to much to even contemplate doing them all again. So my plan is to do a pretty smooth finish on this kit. Its a vintage kit so I am not expecting miracles but I would like to produce a nice painted finish and to get the decals to go down well. As for tools I have an old worn X-Acto saw blade which will do for the panel lines and I also have a dental type of pointed scribing tool. I have quite a steady hand so I don't have a problem doing free hand and I have a steel rule to guide me. But this is a big aircraft even in 1/72nd scale. So my question is how far do you think I should go ? There are some serious fit issues so I will have to do some work on this especially around the engine nacelles. Any input would be appreciated. Regards.

Thanks for share your knowledge. We use to see videos of modelers who show us the good modelers they are, but do not explain with those details the way to make it. Keep it going!!!

It's not necessary to wear a mask while using an airbrush ? Or is it okay when using acrylic paints ? In almost every video I've seen, they can't stress it enough.... so just thought I'd ask. Your videos are awesome! really helping me a ton with my new hobbie 🙏

Absolutely gorgeous...I dont have the painting skills to do such fine work as this.Just in my 2nd year with an airbrush and its tricky..lots to learn and know how to waether and do panel lines.and ya I have had a few disasters but I was smart enough to get really cheap models to practice on

This is a 501 Squadron Battle of Britain Hurricane. The box art displays a famous incident on October 7, 1940 when Kenneth "mad mac" Mackenzie claimed three downed 109s. The first 2 he shot down, but by the third he ran out of ammo. He fly alongside and used his wingtip to knock the tail plane off the 109 forcing it to crash. Despite loosing 6ft off his wing,he nursed the plane back to base.

My cat knocked over a bottle of AK spirits and I have a t-90 on my bench that I want to get started by applying kursk dirt enamel pigment on, while i am waiting on a new bottle of ak white spirits is there any alternative to using that that I may have in my home that can substitute for ak white spirit? I also wonder if a big cheap can of white spirit at a walmart will work too. How about anything else?

Hi, I have just bought some of this primer. I only use brushes to paint models. Will I need to add thinner to this when coating first primer using brush? Also, I will only use this on tank kits, for aircraft I will continue to use spray can primers.
