I'm a Bass flute player and enthusiast who dreams of having a vertical bass flute! Wonderful to see someone playing with such veryuosty and technical skills! The bass flute is not a novelty,it's a real, serious instrument!! Great video!

I think something like this flute comes; all the keys, lip plate and the crown comes like that from the maker. Most probably Haynes.

I think the acoustics of this instrument help with projection, bass flute is already a quiet and tiring instrument to the player, having the keys in front means better projection and a more comfortable position to hold the instrument imo

Esthetically it would nice if a partition of some sort could be put up behind the performers to block the view of all those flute cases on the shelf. I think the performers deserve that so the focus in on them. Thank you for presenting these recitals on KZbin.
