This is such a cool effect. It's too bad it doesn't work with images. The split line is straight, not curved and the blur just blurs everything.

@@dopemotions Yeah, it's the same with a lot of text tutorials because it's a b/w matte. So many tutorials rely on this for FX to respond. You figure this sort of thing out for images, you might open up a can of worms (good ones...with pretty colors).
