Love The ST220 3LT V6 .On my 3rd 1 in the last 12 years ,expensive to run,that is up to you , my current st 220 ie a 2004 silver hatch back ,clean all around, with 91700 on the clock , It is definately remapped as I have pissed a good few Mercs n boy racers off, i love it .Am old school. Repect to all.

Stunning car! How many inches are the rims? I have the exact same car in the 1.8T salon model, and i would like to replace its original 16 inch rims to 19-20 inch ones but is it true that it will cause damages to the car?

@isrealazoulay I couldn’t be 100% sure but my guess is they will be 19’s or 20’s, I think 20. Wow, going from 16-19/20 is quite a jump, though I think the RS6’s had 18 or 19’s as standard. Its hard to say really without seeing your car, you are probably best checking a forum or asking a local garage you trust for advice maybe. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

@@jordanclarkson2010 Thanks for the response. Most local garages don't recommend replacing the rims of any car to nicer and bigger ones, but I don't really get it since there are so many cars out there with those beautiful 19-20 inch rims.. I have posted a short video of my car's engine on my channel a few days ago (because I wanted a mechanic to watch it), and at the beginning you can see the current rims. Maybe you can have a quick look at it and say if you would have replaced them if it was yours. Just posted some pictures of it on my channel RN

@@israelazoulay7643 I think replacing by an inch or two bigger isn't too harmful but going from 16-19 or 20 does seem a bit drastic. I guess it could affect things like your suspension which you might have to change and also you would have to recalibrate your speedometer maybe. Just seen the video of your car

@@israelazoulay7643 I have a 2007 BMW 330i myself with 17 inch wheels. A lot of them come with 18s or 19s but I have left my wheels as I like them. It really depends on the car. I think maybe some nice 17s or 18s would suit yours quite nice.

@@jordanclarkson2010 Gotcha looks like it's a whole project with possible severe consequences.. (I have also added some pictures for a clearer view). I think I'll eventually keep them as they are because I don't think increasing by 1-2 would make such a significant difference with the actual ones which at the end of the day doesn't look that bad.. but if we would go just for the looks, I think 20 inch like the ones in your video would make it look sick 🙃

Ive got the same car, can't believe it as I worked bloody hard to get it. I've searched all over and can't see any others available in the UK. Glad I bought it as it's amazing to cruise about in it and people love to stop and talk about it. They are always surprised when I tell them they can take for a spin if they want, I just want others to enjoy the thrill of it. They never take the offer though:(

They all came with 3.9l Rover V8. Not 3.5 or 4.0. All were 3.9 out of the then current Range Rover.

@emreeren99 I'm not sure about everyday but most days that I've been it has been sort of similar to this, sometimes even more crazy. Audi RS cars are plentiful in places like Manchester and other places in the UK. You'll love the cars 😃 and its a cool city too

Yes , both are MK V1 conversions , though it's possible that 50 GYK is an 'R' Type frame, being a '53 model..The tell tale is the configuration of the rear spring hangers , and whether they are welded or rivetted chassis . The constructors of both have had the foresight to move the radiator, engine/gearbox unit and cruciform cross member back some 18" to 24" in the chassis .

@tristanhumby9670 Yeah, it sounds mega! Not sure about the running costs, it depends what you're used to and what care you're coming from. I think these B8's are supposed to be quite reliable, maybe a bit heavy on the fuel. I think brakes all round are about £1,500 ish, servicing maybe not too bad if you use a good specialist and not a dealer

I've had mine for just over a year now, easily the best car I've had for the money. Currently at around 71k miles and I'm putting a milltek on it this week as a treat for passing its MOT

In my opinion, this truly is the best looking car ever created. I literally own one just like this one but in Daytona Grey, and I am still here on youtube dreaming about it. Love it!

If you could compare the acceleration to other cars you’ve been in, which other car felt most similar?

@@LavshBeatsTMlavishbeats Not quite push you back into your seat fast but quick enough. In regards to what feels similar acceleration wise that's a very tricky one actually, it feels quicker than an E46 M3 from memory but not quite as quick as an E92 M3 or B7 RS4. Really difficult one that 🤔

I’m looking at potentially getting one of these but want to know that it will feel quick enough (Coming from a 250hp modified Fiesta ST). I’m not looking for a baby GTR but don’t want to be left wanting more either. I’ll just have to go out and test drive one I guess! Thanks again!

Came to this after the ST220 video. 5:57 the exhaust looks real loose on that C63 or C class. Nice compilation and I think I might've watched R35addict before

@Stallzy Nice! Yeah that was just a normal C Class not a real C63, sounded like a 4 pot, exhaust fitment wasn’t great at all. Glad you liked the video, thanks for watching 👌
