Building a season vs. building a program! Coach is building a program. We are better, just not "there" yet. I believe in this coach and these kids. They will win! It's coming! ❤

It’s all about winning at this level…. Especially where some of these young men and women are headed in the future. I really look forward to how this rebuild turns out. I have confidence in Coach. But it’s going to take time!

I for one am rooting for the coach and his team to get over the hump and get a few wins. Last season they were not competitive. This season they are competing and they have been in every game. More than that I would trust this coach with my son for four years. In addition I would like to point out that the game broadcasts have been a wonderful improvement as well. They have excellent coverage with nice replays and sideline reporting.

Enjoy the show, but takes awhile to find the start point. Can that be fixed ?

I agree this was a hard ball game for the Citadel I am optimistic that we will crush the next SoCon teams.

The Good: our QB has protected the ball well and placed his passes where only our receivers can make the catch...our receivers have made some fantastic catches in crucial situations...our RB's run hard and finish every run falling forward...our defense has done well in pass rushing and blitzing...our tackling has improved since last year...our defensive line seems stronger and quicker than last year, especially Chris Iverson (he's become a major disruption in the interior)...our young DB's are improving in leaps and bounds...every aspect of our special teams is solid (Ben Barnes has kicked well, James Platte is punting well as usual, Braylon Knauth is the best returner we've had in quite a while, our kick/punt coverage teams have been very good, and Bradlee Jones is heading for legend status as a kick blocker). The Bad: too many pre-snap penalties on offense...our run blocking has been inconsistent (sometimes we have linemen downfield looking to make a block when the runner never made it past the line of scrimmage, maybe we need better blocking schemes with some double teams?)...sometimes our defenders have taken bad angles that allowed the ball carrier to run right by them...we've had some critical blown coverages, and by some of our more experienced players. But, overall, I'm very encouraged and excited for our future! Go Dogs!!

Watched the game. It was good. I think the citadel played HARD. I would like to see a stronger defense on them. I can’t tell you how many times I felt like SC state plowed through the citadel line. It seemed like a defense game. We may be out one, but we can come back.

Great role model for character building and success in life.

I have seen alot of improvement from week one to know. This is a very young team . I'm looking forward to the future of the Citadel people don't give up on this team and coaching staff!

Not gonna lie. For the first 5 games, we looked worse than any Bulldog football team I can remember in nearly 40 years. It was very concerning. HOWEVER, for the past 2 games, we have shown VAST improvement. We should have won the VMI game, but let it slip through our fingers. Keep marching on, Coach. The wins will come. And I don't mind the "gadgets"! And show us that wishbone again, with #47 on the dive! I've been waiting 4 years to see him carry the rock! Go Dogs!!
