I would recommend doing it trought the DV firewire port, but at laptops you dont got any PCIE slots to put in a adapter like that, yes theres USB firewire cables but they can be dangerous

USB FireWire cables do not work. But you are right. The best way to do this and maintain quality is get an old DVD recorder that has FireWire and burn DVDs. Then rip those on a computer. It's the best workaround for 2024.

Glad it helped! I've never tried a delayed auto-locking, but I don't think this lock has that. This one is basic for a keyless entry, but it works great and lasts forever.

There isn't a noticeable difference that I can see. The original is standard definition. Standard of course is 720 x 576.

I got my lock with ADT. I’ve since switched alarm companies but still have the same lock. I’ve followed several how to videos including yours and I’m still not able to reset the master code or add additional codes. It’s driving me crazy!

Is there any problem that you detected in your smart lock? Cause mine doesn't unlock, just like another comment. I can use any of the options, it makes a noise, it says "unlocked" but it doesn't open...

I use a mac, so mine will be different but here are the links to the cords I use so you can see what I do. Again this will not work for windows. amzn.to/4eoqyFH - from slide scanner to adapter. The adapter is hard to find now, goes for about $150 on ebay. But this set-up is not the only option for mac users. Yes, the software comes with the Elgato, that's one thing that makes this method one of the easiest methods to transfer.

Hi, So what cable would one get for a canon Hi * camera? the manual says C-250 AV Cable, and we bought the camera used and it had no cable. We bought one form a local shop, but it didn't work. It was labelled RCA AV cable and looked like yours, but still did not work. suggestions? Links to known working cables?

Double-check that you are pugging into the the A/V out on the camera. If you are there is something wrong. Either the cable is bad or the A/V out port on the camera doesn't work.

WOW, that is a big number. They give people a price for one tape, which seems small but they add up big time!! This method is so easy when you get it going. Here’s the link to my 8mm video. is there another form of doing this without using the el gato converter? I have the exact same converter but unfortunately it is not from el gato, I dowloaded the video capture format but it keeps telling me to connect my el gato converter? Yes, but that's a different video altogether. You need the mini dv output (1394) on the camcorder, and your computer has to be able to accept the old firewire connection. You also need different software to capture the video. I've done it both ways, the elgato was just easier, and it gave me smaller files to work with, way easier to convert and store the video.

I am sure as me, alot of users their batteries didn't charger. So best choice is to buy a battery tender. Check a KZbin tutorial on how to use the battery tender with the v 20 battery then you put it in charger and done. Easiest way. I just wonder if the company actually doesn't know about this. Thank me later . Lol

Home Depot has these for $65 but Amazon has them for about $16. Same fit, same everything. I just had to use a mallet to fit it in because the O Rings were new. The old cartridge O Rings were worn out and flushed. I usually walk around Home Depot to get ideas for my house and then go to Amazon. MORE options and a lot, a lot LESS cheaper lol. Thanks for the video.
