If the question of any two subjects is same and we have written the same answer in both and submit both at different times on turnitin then does this thing count as plagiarism or not? because i answer the question in same lines which i did in my previous subject assignment because the question is same so turnitin show me 17% plagirism of this so it is count in plagiarism or not??
@thinkandlearn219 күн бұрын
Technically, Turnitin flags this as "self-plagiarism." While you are not copying someone else's work, you are reusing your own previously submitted material without proper acknowledgment. Most academic institutions consider self-plagiarism a violation because the expectation is that every submission should be original work created for that specific assignment. To address this situation: Seek clarification from your instructor(s): Some professors or institutions allow the reuse of your own work if the situation is explained beforehand, but others may have stricter policies. Paraphrase and expand your answers: Instead of copying your previous response word-for-word, try to approach the topic from a slightly different angle or incorporate new insights. This way, your new submission demonstrates a fresh effort while still addressing the question appropriately. Cite your previous work if allowed: If the institution permits it, you can cite your earlier submission as a source, ensuring transparency.

Why we cant use yet with wh- question
@thinkandlearn219 күн бұрын
Using "yet" with wh- questions is uncommon because "yet" typically indicates something expected to happen or be completed. It works better with yes/no questions like "Have you finished yet?" In wh- questions, "yet" often sounds awkward because such questions focus on specifics, not expectations. For example, "Where have you gone yet?" is incorrect. Instead, you'd say, "Where have you gone so far?" However, "yet" works with wh- questions if rephrased for context, like "Why haven't they arrived yet?"

Hold on The ship of oblivion has not yet departed Let's not condemn what we have experienced to shipwreck For our yesterday, for our love, I ask you … Hold on I still have springs in my hands To fill you with all new caresses That would die at my hands if you left … Wait a little, a little longer To take my happiness to you Wait a little, a little longer I'd die if you leave … Wait a little, a little longer To take my happiness to you Wait a little, a little longer I'd die if you leave … Hold on I still stayed
I have been looked for these details and i couldn't find anywhere but in this channel. I thank you for the explanation. Since and for are specified time? But present perfect tense do not take identified time so as per your explanation these two adverbs are exceptional?
@thinkandlearn22 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad you found the explanation helpful. Let me clarify your question. In the present perfect tense, “for” and “since” are indeed used to indicate a duration of time or the starting point of an action that continues to the present. For example: “I have lived here for five years.” (duration) “I have lived here since 2013.” (starting point) These expressions don't specify a particular moment in the past but rather show the continuity of an action. This is why they can be used with the present perfect tense, even though the tense itself does not pinpoint an exact past time. Instead, it focuses on the relevance of past actions or experiences to the present. So, while “for” and “since” give information about time, they are not “identified” time markers like “in 2014” or “last year.” They provide context without breaking the rule that the present perfect tense does not specify a particular moment in the past. I hope this clears up your confusion! Feel free to ask if you have more questions.

Did you use black chain or point by point?
@thinkandlearn27 ай бұрын
Watch this video to understand both the block and point by point methods and when to utilize each: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnXbpHavbrCpjrcsi=-VNrr92bUH4fVXgg For cause/effect essays, the Block method is typically used. This is because when writing a cause essay, you focus solely on causes, without discussing effects within the same essay. Likewise, when writing an effect essay, you concentrate only on the effects without discussing causes within the same essay. Each body paragraph would cover one cause or one effect, respectively, and provide detailed information about it.

So what does that mean, Synthesis is basically like in the newspaper? Because we have this enabling assessment and we are required to complete a creative synthesis as our midterm exam, we must create a creative synthesis that, in my opinion, just includes pictures and design based of the "creative" word added and it also looks more like a newspaper than a normal synthesis due to the add on, if that makes sense. im i right?
@thinkandlearn2 Жыл бұрын
Your observation is on the right track. While a "creative synthesis" may involve visual elements like pictures and design, it's important to remember that the core of a synthesis essay is to integrate ideas from various sources into a coherent narrative or argument. So, even if it looks like a newspaper in terms of visuals, the underlying purpose is to synthesize information creatively to convey a compelling message. Ensure that your visuals enhance and complement the written content for a cohesive and effective presentation.

Glad that I got an answer really helpful finally have conclusion on synthesis is all about. Thank you for this.
