thanks for the great video, i can see your passion for plants. I used this video as a jumping off point in teaching my home-schooled Grade 3 son about endangered plants and invasive plant species

They are extremely aggressive and brutal. They will attack and sting without any warning. Even if you stand completely still. They came for me right to the tip of the nose. Was stung by 2 bees in different areas on the same day, both came straight to the nose tip and stung. They ARE aggressive. There was NOTHING for them to defend. They came after me

Army ants are harmless. The much quoted "eat anything in their path" is mostly incorrect, as most army ant species have specific prey, such as termites, wasps or other ants species. Some driver ants only predate earthworms. If they were as dangerous as some make out, then they wouldn't have symbiotic relationships with so many other species - they'd be too dangerous.

Very cool video. I once heard of a pitcher plant species that grows exclusively in a handful of swamps in a single patch of forest in the American South

As usual this video was fascinating, I knew almost nothing about the carnivorous plants of Borneo until you told me about them, and I learned a ton from this one. Also lowkey forgot that we had that footage, thanks for the shoutout! Always a pleasure to see an upload from you.

One folk knowledge I got from my teacher is... tobacco water. Leeches freak out from tobacco water. Just wet a cig and squeeze the drop out.

@@Ecotasia Oh man, i forgot that the footage you show is recorded by you. That's a nice touch. In this case, yes, i truly hope someday you can travel to those places and so many more, and show us the images of it :)

I like that they aren't accurate it makes it feel different from other dinosaur movies and well it was made in the early 1990s so I wasn't gonna be accurate and well it would make since if all the sudden they went from what they had in 1998 to a modern day dinosaur

I was actively in psychosis by a river trying to just find some peace. One of these crawled toward me. And it kept following me. It made me feel sick and wrong and like I had parasites in my body. The most awful living creature to ever grace my vision. I’d rather see a massive spider. Disgusting little stinker. And the best part is that I leave my shop doors open with lights on and the adult flying ones LOVE the light I put out. They’ve hit me in the face.
