I would love to go there. I want to find my ancestors and see if I have any distant cousins there. I would like to know if Nicol is related to Macnicol, I would say it is, but would love to find some help tracking down my ancestors.

Nicol is one of the Sept families of Clan MacNeacail… yes ye are of the Clan.

Yes Nicol, MacNichol is now Nicholson, Chieftain last in Australia

I'm a Nicholson and my mom is a Nichols. Came to the US in the 1700's from St Bee's Whitehaven England and before that Isle of Skye.
