Jeeze, yes, Werewolves is clever but there are at least 4 other songs just on that album (Excitable Boy) that have better lyrics. His whole catalog starting with his self titled album that came out just before Excitable Boy is full of great lyrics. He's much more than Werewolves of London

It’s so nice to hear good American music today that’s tied to the geography and culture of the land. It paints a perfect picture. The singer’s voice carries imagery of whiskey barrels and Appalachian woods hidden in the mist. Great song!👍🏽
