You have to make sure that the client knows that you are going to be calling them on a Spanish number. A lot of Brits will not accept a call from a Spanish number.

That's true, but that's one of the reasons why WhatsApp has become so popular as a means of communication. Do you think it's the portal's responsibility to therefore educate their client base on what numbers agencies might be ringing from, or could the agency get a virtual UK landine to call from?

A lot of the issues is the relationship with your account manager and the services you can receive and the best value for your business.

Valid point! I do agree that with some portals out there, the account manager changes alot more often than it should, and some of them don't even tell you about it! A monthly call, even if just to check in on the client could mean the difference between renewing or not.

Your channel has quality content but still it is not delivering its right audiences due to SEO problems. Yep, I would like to know if we can "personalise" reference numbers in different feeds so we can see where enquiries are coming from?

Many thanks for your question, unfortunately we recorded the next episode before seeing this comment - however, I'm more than happy to answer your question here: It would depend on the system you were using to send the XML feed out to the portals, and it would depend on the format - however - from a Property Portal Marketing perspective, it is something that can be done, yes. For example you may want to have an RM on the end of the refs for Rightmove, AP for APITS and so on... We would always advise speaking with your existing provider to see what was possible - our next episode on XML feeds will be out very shortly.
