Maybe this car will do better the CRZ sales wise. But like the CRZ it should have been Manual transmission Hybrid.

11HP less than the 2024 Forte at 190HP vs 201HP, that’s my biggest gripe. That and the headlight/grill design vs the 2024 model is a downgrade in aesthetics imo. It’s also a shame that Mexico gets the K4 but not the K5 (even though KIA is made here, wtf?)

Stop your frick'n nit picking! Not everybody wants a computer-like multi-menu whizbang display on everything. It's just more stuff that can go wrong. It's refreshed enough to maintain relativity. It's go increased payload and towing capacity. It looks good. They even gave us the telescoping steering wheel we've been pestering them for. In other words, it's got enough bells and whistles to deep tech nerds happy. Also, there's enough old school reliability and familiarity to keep old dudes like me happy. Now, if they can keep the price out of the stratosphere, we'll all be more happy. O.K.? So with all that said, relax and enjoy the ride. Now, shut up and drive. 😃

Just voicing my opinion as you're allowed to voice yours. Pricing has been on the rise for this model too it will be interesting to see if Nissan has done enough to keep the Frontier relevant until the next update or redesign because as of said many times on this channel and the podcast Frontier is my number 1 option for me if a need to buy a truck number 2 is Tacoma.

Never been a hybrid guy but now that the towing is there, I could dig it. I usually prefer naturally aspirated engines over turboed ones for longevity as well. My only concern is the replacement hybrid batt cost, and just how hard is max towing on the thing aka mpg

I mean my opinion is buy low sell high I would say though especially as someone born and raised in America seeing there cars their dealer network and just seeing where these brands once where to where they are now and the trajectory they have taken with evidence showing it had long term affects negatively and with futures that based off everything before might not seem bright I dont have much confidence if any in them at this moment. Take it with a grain of salt on not a financial guy but like I said I dont see anything in the future which shows excitement to me in the brands which is just my Opinion. Hopefully they bounce back though more options and competition is always better plus it would be great to see these once amazing brands leaders and innovators back doing what they do best.

2:37 - Implying the 2023 and 2024 GR Corollas weren't selling? They had no problems selling, it was quite the opposite. Dealers had been adding 5-10 thousand above MSRP because of how sought after they were. Toyota could have produced 10 times the amount of vehicles and still sold them all. The people that wanted, and still want, this car are people that love the experience of having a direct relationship with their car. And Toyota saw it that way too by making it manual only, with even a mechanical hand brake.

8:37 I called the local dealership and they said if I had over 150,000. Miles on it I shouldn’t bring it in because the repair would somehow mess up the drivetrain . He caught me off guard with that response so I said great, didn’t want to bring it in anyway. But I’m going to call another dealership and get the recall done there. I guess the local dealership is having some kind of financial problem,

Hey, cool video and idea, I just want to say as a Honda dealer tech the biggest problem with a cord is their higher trim levels require you to buy a hybrid model. No longer do you separate accord hybrid, if you want a higher trim it comes with a hybrid powertrain so a lot of people don’t want a hybrid powertrain and they can’t get a higher trim accord and therefore they don’t buy the accord. The Civic and CRV don’t force you into a hybrid powertrain with higher trim levels… At least not yet. The monstrosity of the prologue needs to be immediately canceled! It’s a GM product made in Mexico with a Chinese transmission and a Korean eV motor. No, I don’t have anything against anyone, but I have noticed the Mexican made Honda products have more quality control issues, the Korean designed and built vehicles have nothing but problems, GM alone is enough of a headache and I don’t know anything about the Chinese transmission. If any buyer has any sense, they will look at the Monroney label and immediately walk away. Don’t Acura sales typically only amount about 10% of Honda sales yearly, historically? It is sad that TLX is not performing as well as a car of its caliber should. The type s has double wishbone suspension again, a wonderful new V6 design with a turbo and finally a Honda designed 10 speed transmission instead of the German ZF monstrosity…. Passport is basically a v6 Crv… those in the market for a Crv want the fuel savings - it’s really not worth being in production.
@Automotiveworld18866 ай бұрын
your Feedback and Information is appreciated immensely sadly Acura account for very few sales and don't seem to be trending in quite the right direction I would say though many of the other points you made where valid and will more than likely resonate with a lot of people. I myself still miss the V6 and 2.0T Accords especially the 2.0T it was always IMO a really nice sweet spot for the accord lineup

Sergey Paltsev, Deputy Director of the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change, electric vehicles are clearly a lower-emissions option than cars with internal combustion engines. Over the course of their driving lifetimes, EVs will create fewer carbon emissions than gasoline-burning cars under nearly any conditions. “We shouldn't claim victory that with this switch to electric cars, problem solved, we are going to have zero emissions,” he says. “No, that's not the case. But electric cars are actually much, much better in terms of the impact on the climate in comparison to internal combustion vehicles. And in time, that comparative advantage of electric cars is going to grow.”

My gf had her Bronco Sport lose all power while driving on a major highway. Needed to have her truck towed to a local Ford dealership and she was told that there were NO recalls for her vehicle. It’s a 2022 with the 3cylinder motor. So are the dealerships ignoring the issue?? Cos this could cause accidents and deaths!!
@Automotiveworld18867 ай бұрын
Its possible dealerships are ignoring it but it is also possible despite the recall listed by the NHTSA as mentioned in the video that vehicle may have not been part of the recall however like any vehicle issues can still occur. Im not seeing any recalls by NHTSA for that specific problem but I would contact FORD see if there are any services bulletins and have them investigate. Hopefully your GF is ok but the only recall we have for loss of power is from the low battery as mentioned in the video.
