Wow what a talk

those 2 years costed NANO more damage than anything else. It costed India lots of foreign currency as it could have exported in Africa and other countries.

Now people are buying MG comet, which is ugly(for lack of a better word) and very expensive. I bought Punch in 2022 and I love it except when I've to to get it serviced.

Though the Nano may not have been a commercial success, I have found being an entrepreneur that such projects are not necessarily a waste of time and effort because what is learned during during any failed project can be used for future projects including new ideas which may not have been thought of, if the initial project had not been pursued. I can see at least one useful aspect of this project for TATA. TATA gained another large manufacturing plant which now produces other models and with an apparently previously untapped labour force in Gujarat. West Bengal's loss, Gujarat's gain. And, TATA has perhaps learned, at least with manufacturing, stay away from communist states such as West Bengal. Communism tends to suppress the entrepreneurial spirit in its population and produces NO people - people who are against progress and react with NO to any progressive ideas. And if my minimal knowledge of Gujarat is correct, and please forgive me if I am incorrect in this - Gujarati workers can usually be counted on to be sober when arriving at work, so long as they have not been near the state border when I understand whisky can be readily had in the neighboring state. 🙂

Only if the politics didnt interfere. There would be many improved versions of nano,. The visions i had was- nanos running all over the country,every home on every streets nano here nano there everywhere.

I had an pre paid order of 2012 nano, i sold it to our house contractor who stayed in village after the 2nd hand xta was available to me from a friends neighbour i wont go to details but the later model look headlights and openable back hatch make a ton of difference.
