I tried a slide hammer. I tried axle forks. I tried a pry bar. I tried a chisel and hammer, ratcheting straps, and a motorcycle tire spoon. After working on this thing for hours, rotating the axle over and over again, and begging the Lord to let me finish before nightfall, the only thing that worked for me was a 27mm wrench made by Pittsburgh that I bought years ago as part of a set of long handle wrenchers from Harbor Freight. I stuck it in there, pulled gently, and it finally popped out. I bought tools made specifically for this job, and some that weren't, and they all got beat out by a good, old-fashioned wrench.

I think most evap tests are automatically ran at gas tank half full and driving at high 2500+ rpm. Unles you forced the test with a scanner and reved the engine the light is not going to come soon. I am still chasing my evap leak for over an year now. Have replaced about 4 houses that looked like this one and still leak present. Tried another used (cap) too, so maybe I'll try to seal the cap with a rubber glove or something to make sure the cap is the culprit. Very annoying codes for sure.

Wait. Why don't u keep draining till it stops draining @4:15? It should automatically stop draining the over-filled amount at the right level, and that is why we have the level plug in addition to the drain plug, which has a long pipe with it.

Why did you flip the tabs on the pads? Came off with the metal tabs down, and installed with them up.

I have a 2012 Silverado 2500HD, I replaced the Park Assist Wiring Loom and all for senors and the service park assist is still on the dash. I disconnected the battery to try and clear it and even used my scan tool to clear the error but it still returns. Any ideas? I replaced the wiring loom because when I first replaced my sensors years ago, I broke the red lock clip and it would sit on the sensor without tape.

What are the symptoms? Is a shaking steering wheel at highway speed one of them? I know my car needs a lower control arm replacement. I just want to be sure that thats thats causing the vibration and shaking of my steering wheel at 65mph, so that I wont go and spend unnecessary amounts of money at the shop

Best video yet. I did my 2023 Nissan Armada platinum at 20,000 miles. I dropped the pan, cleaned the magnets and all the clutch material off. The screen looked of much the same, washed it down with new transmission fluid. I didn’t have enough time to flush which I would do. Second, I used a turkey baster and removed the power steering out of the reservoir, filled, let it cycle a day, repeated, now fluid is clean. Maintenance on these are definitely necessary, and would do the driveline every 20-25,000 miles.

Hi , thanks for the video..i got a 2012 hyundai ix35 with the 1.7crdi engine..my ac works fine and the compressor doesn’t leak but doing some regular maintenance i noticed with engine on the pulley doesn’t spin is this normal ? Is it supposed to spin only with ac on ? Wouldn’t that wear the belt quicker ?

Thanks for the video. You are awesome for replying to so many comments. Hopefully you reply to this before this sunday! Can you elaborate regarding fill levels? I read lots of comments but still unsure just because im used to having a dipstick. You mentioned to fill until drains from level plug, then start car, continue until it start draining from level plug again. But in the beginnin, when you were doing it and car was off, quite a bit was coming out. When i do it, i will be measuring how much comes out and refilling that amount but that still doesnt account for that which evaporated naturally over time and so i was wondering if its even possible to be precise without a dipstick or special equipment. Im worried of overfilling or underfilling as ive read the consequences can be bad for either. Can you please elaborate regarding fluid level? How much should be coming out when running vs when off at optimal level, how much more should you put in (i bought 8 quarts) Thanks!

How is the pinion bearing pre-load set in these trucks? Does doing this affect the pre-load? I’m more familiar with older axles with the crush collar.
