He is not inviting us to just come and be who we are. He calls us to come and be transformed (to become holy as He is holy) through the work of the Holy Spirit. If you remain unchanged you haven’t been with Jesus at all. You aren’t His.

Does this sum this video up: Christians should welcome trans people as they are, but then help trans people as new Christians to accept their natural gender/sex and stop transitioning or detransition.

Amen brother. Sex is a part of marriage that is actually in part supernatural. Life is created this way and so is love. It is all about showing our affection and love to the spouse. Couples who do not have sex tend to drift apart intimately in other ways. I know I have been married 33 years yesterday. We have been through it all and when we were struggling in the world and our walk it was hard on our marriage. God restored us. Love keeps no record of wrongs. We can see our spouse as the one we married and start the honeymoon over again with Gods help. The closer we come to Jesus the closer we come together. When God uplifted our marriage 3 years ago we were 50 and should not have been able to make love every day for hours for a good month. God did that for us to make up for lost time! It was beautiful. Laughter came back into our home. I wake up today hearing my wife singing often. Gods is so good! Married couples love each other! Forgive each other. Got close to Jesus and he will heal everything.

To think your good deeds alone will get you to heaven is foolish. It implies that you can do it alone. No one gets to the father without knowing the Son. I am far from perfect. I spread these words to myself more than to anybody. Get a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Is this the Sunday “sermon”?
@MountaintopChurch11 ай бұрын
For the Sunday before the New Year we like to gather digitally. This encourages you to spend time with friends and family and together engage with our church community online for one Sunday a year. This is this year’s digital experience- a conversation on rhythms that we hope will bring renewal in your life in 2024.

While we rightly expect people struggling with adultery or a murderous rage will come to the church, we also expect they will repent and forsake their adultery or murderous rage. We would NEVER expect an adulterer or murderer to continue acting out their behavior because the pastor believed their bad behavior was "complicated."

We disagree on this issue, but even as an LGBT Christian, I want to say that I wish you all the best. I know you wouldn't post this if you didn't care. I wish you the best, and hope good things happen to you.

We need to go back to the Bible. If you REALLY go to the Word of God without prejudice, without bias, or blindly going by what you always believed and were always taught by the Church, you will see those verses, soundly, transparently, rightly, say there is no sin in homosexuality and yes, that includes those in gay unions.

I can say I'm a disciple of Josh's father, Ken, having read his books and conversed online with him numerous times since around 2006. Glad to see his son, Josh, teaching as well. The Power family is an awesome testimony confirming God's wonderful ways.
