My opinion, almost worse than useless video.. Doesn't answer comments/questions. Calls a root stock by a number. No explanation of its origin, etc. I signed in specifically to tell other viewers the truth.

This did not explain what a rootstock was. Like where do they come from? Are they just seedling stems?

Thanks! Its gonna be painful to do... But why thin anyway? Im ok with eating smaller but lots of apples than a few biger ones? Taste different?
@nitelite784 жыл бұрын
Why thin after they have grown so big? The tree has spent all that energy on growing fruit that will just get wasted. Better to thin earlier I would think.

Ok my suggestion don't listen to this fellow. The trees he is thinning have a probable zinc deficiency. And you don't use shears to thin.

Hi Anthony Muro, sorry for the delayed response. I am not sure how or if it is possible to simulate chill hours for trees that require more than what your own garden has on offer. I have hear rumors of dumping ice on the root zone, but have no personal experience with that technique. Please let us know if you do try it and if you have success! Good luck and happy gardening!
