The best thing is that the truck is in working condition the cab can be rebuilt but you need to take the truck out of service to do that

I used to be a drivers mate on this vehicle when I worked at NP Timber in 1976, Pete Pepper was my driver, we used to tow a 1932 Tasker 6 wheel trailer behind it, I think I have some pictures somewhere in the loft.

the uk as a country should be ashamed.....the foden drop it has hooked on the back was also a good viable bit of kit, the bedford was apparently the most reliable in iraq, so why did our goverments let these great truck manufactures go out of business? still lessons have not been learned although the uk car industry has been sold why are our police traffic cops driving volvos? surely a jag would be on par? LDV vans now shut, yet the police use merc sprinters? "once proud to be british"
