I certainly hope you found out the difference between Idaho and Iowa. Just watched Season 1, Episode 3 of cake war on Hulu. The guy is from IOWA and you said Idaho. Idk how you can work with people when you’re so rude and disrespectful too.

Proof that greatness does not just occur at the biggest of ballet companies. I've seen this pas de deux by every company shown on You Tube. These two have more than just technique; they bring joy to the dance. I have never seen the big smile this sugar plum fairy brings to the dance.....until now. Bravo!

Exactly how many Fouettés does Ms Bosco perform starting at 7:58? Even at half-speed, I'm not sure which are true Fouettés and which are pirouettes en retirés. All I know is it _looks_ like more than 20+. Thanks. (This, IMHO, is one of the best young persons' pas de deux I've yet seen.) Stay safe, everyone.

One of the best Nutcracker Pas De Deux is by Bejart. Startlingly elegant with a male dancer to beat all male dancer and incredible choreography and a very strong female dancer. The above version is hampered by the background decoration--so distracting and really nothing dynamic here. No artistry.

Ursula Austin Nothing that you've said here has made sense. This isn't Bejart. Bejart's Nutcracker has nothing to do with this and in fact, Bejart's grand pas de deux uses Petipa's original, traditional choreography. This pas de deux is all about the Sugar Plum Fairy and highlighting the ballerina. What background would you have instead to represent the land of sweets? You are trying to sound like you know something about ballet when clearly, you do not. "Startlingly elegant". 😂😂😂

@@katwil89 That is true Bejart created his own Nutcracker however having seen traditional Nutcracker so many times this was different and interesting. One of the things that Bejart kept and highlighted in his Grand Pas De Deux is the assemble which was interpreted by Danilova and Franklin to legendary proportions and an original move to the Petipa choreography but lost over time.. Personally I admire innovation in ballet--but again that is my opinion. Balanchine Nutcracker Pas-de Deux is also a lovely interpretation. Well in terms of sweets I am not comparing traditional version of the Pas De Deux to the Bejart version, rather applauding daring choreography.

I do not agree. I would be so happy to see the same enthusiasm for talented, classical artists (ballet and music) as for the likes of people of questionable talent (Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, etc.).
