Brilliant arrangement...love it!! Did this piece arranged by a good friend on my Godin on my KZbin channel... but love my Yamaha Silent guitar. Have both the nylon and strung versions, but the former gets most used to date. Inspirational thank you

Nice!! And I am among those who would be very interested in what strings (and what gauge) are used.. as well as what amplification and effects are involved during the recording.. Alternatively, thanks for your willingness :-)

Hi Frederick, reviews I have watched all talk about the pickup, mic mod and effects, nobody seems to comment on the SLG as a guitar - action, feeling, holding tune etc... the normal stuff. Do you have an opinion in this regard? Thanks

Dave Sherrill please tell me about the guitar and vocal effects. How many types of amp models are there? Are these lifted from other Headrush products? Re the vocal effects, is it possible to add harmonies like the TC Voicelive 3? I see the Looperboard as an alternative to the TC Helicon VL3X but there are no videos specifically demoing these features. Thanks.

@drewson2a5125 жыл бұрын
Are the guitar tones from the Headrush Looperboard are from an external unit? Thanks
@freddroyce5 жыл бұрын
the guitar tones are from the Headrush pedalboard, there are some amp sounds in the looper unit itself that are passable, the effects are really good so that gives you a lot of options
@drewson2a5125 жыл бұрын
The guitar tones in your video are good but there are currently no videos to demonstrate the full range of amp models and effects. The Headrush downloads for this product don’t explain the models and effects available. If as you say, the modelling options are limited this may explain why other videos show other Headrush products being used for guitar tones.

I'm thinking to get this looperboard. What do you think of it?
@freddroyce5 жыл бұрын
I think it is really good and really expensive and really big. it is the best looper out there, I loop all the time and definitely will be keeping this unit. it dose just about everything you would want a looper to do and then some.

VERY HAPPY to see a Video with an Acoustic Guitar and the Helix HX!!! I was thinking about using it with my Acoustic Duo......no longer thinking....I'm doing it!! Great Tone.Thank you again!!
@TheDarinAmes6 жыл бұрын
@Keith Darling, so you got the HX Effects and are playing your acoustic through it? How do you like it? Does it limit the wider sound spectrum of the acoustic in any way? I'm on the verge of getting one for my acoustic board. Appreciate any thoughts!
@keithdarling82906 жыл бұрын
Darin, Although I no longer own the HX......it just did way more than I needed so I switched to the Line 6 M13....anyway, back to your question. As far as altering the Sound Spectrum, there are so many factors when discussing your Sound Spectrum. It's going to depend on your Guitar, the size of your Guitar....Full Body Dreadnaught, Concert, Orchestra, Classical or Steel String, Cutaway or not and, In MY OPINION, the TYPE OF WOOD your Guitar is made from. Rosewood Back and Sides sound different than Mahogany which sounds different than Maple, which sound Different than Ovankol and what the Top / Soundboard of your Guitar is made from......most being a Spruce Top although I own both Spruch and Cedar Top Acoustic Guitars......and, of course, there's also Maple Top Guitars!!!! All of that being considered and said........I LOVED IT!!!! I can't remeber if he mentioned what effects he used on his Acoustic, using the Particle Verb, a TOUCH of Chorus, A VERY SLIGHT Delay and Reverb along with SLIGHT Compression did the trick for me!!! This is the Block Order I placed my Effects. 1st was the Compressor, 2nd I used Chorus, 3rd Delay then the Reverb last. Give it a shot and see how it works for you. You may want to try different Reverbs and Choruses but the Red Comp and Digital Delay worked PERFECTLY for what I was going for. Make sure you use the Block Order I posted, reason being....You ALWAYS want to use what's called "Gain Stage" Effects 1st....Gain Stage are effects that actually have an effect on the overall Voulme of your Instrument....Comps, OD's Distortions and EQ's. Then you want to run Modulations next....Chorus, Flangers, Phasers then Dynamic Pedals such as Delays and Reverbs last in line. This order gives you, at least in MY OPINION, the best overall Tone possible from your Effects. I hope this helps you out and I apologise for taking so long to respond!!! ENJOY YOUR HX, IT'S A GREAT UNIT!!! Take care, Keith
@TheDarinAmes6 жыл бұрын
@@keithdarling8290 Hey Keith. The HXFX is now on my new board and while I'm still just scraping the surface of what the HX can do, it's a pretty amazing unit and 'is working out extremely well! My Martin 000-42 with an LR Baggs Anthem pickup system sounds great through it. I'm using some effect pedals before the HX and others in its Loops and am considering getting the Disaster Area DPC-8EZ to act as a slave to add additional loops for extra pedals. For anyone considering he HXFX for acoustic use I highly recommend it!
