Jesus your technique is absolutely incredible! To be that accurate on such a small kit is way harder than it looks and you execute it beautifully!! How do you like that kit? I've been using the alesis nitro mesh, roughly the same size for years but have had nothing but problems using a double kick on the original kick drum. I've bought their upgraded kick but it was only a tad bit bigger than the drums themselves. I've now resorted to lower one of the toms and using that. It worked for 2 years I just placed some foam over top to stop the kicks from breaking the skin which surprisingly worked. Never broke a skin yet but I'm ready for an upgrade and would love to hear your recommendations! Rock on

@jaydeng7118 hey mate, thanks so much for the lovely comment. I actually have a fair few issues with this kit that I still own and the kick pedal too. For one, on the TD-4 KX2 which is what is in the video, the tent pegs that hold this bass drum are not viable on wooden floors or rugs, you really need a carpet and something to hold it steady like straps (which frequently become loose), I luckily have strong velcro on my axis that help keep it in place. My biggest issue with the bass drum here is that my axis pedals don't align on it right and I need folded paper to stop it falling apart. It's a real nightmare. I will say lastly however that the triggering on this kit is dead tight. I mean like if you have headphones there is zero delay If with pad and audio in your ear. I do not like mesh head kicks. They feel different and I often feel sloppier on them as well as they do not represent acoustic heads well. If I were to upgrade I would absolutely try before you buy. No kidding, bring your pedals to a retail store and use your exact pedals or else you're just going to have zero clue what to expect. Dial into the inbuilt metronome system for like 10 15 mins and if you don't get a feel for it move onto the next. Recommend alternating groupings to see if you can play fast and slow like 8ths to 16ths between 180-200. For example snare on 3 kicks on: 8ths on beat 1 2 3 16ths on beat 4 Repeat. Sorry for the rambles. Hope this somewhat helps!!! P.s I love Roland I just hate this kit rn hahahah

Jag känner mig som en total idiot för jag kollade på dina covers mycket för ett antal år sen och kopplade aldrig hur du ser ut med att jag såg dig med HLB och att du är med I ALLT haha. Fan va kul att du lyckas Adam. Btw - är betydelsen av bandets namn "allt" allt på svenska (dvs "everything") eller har namnet annan betydelse? Hoppas ni kommer till GBG någon gång!
