Man, Treyarch did some really fun vehicle sections in COD. Feels like a waste for Quantum not to have them

There was a ZX Spectrum pack, released around 1990, to co-incide with Licence to Kill. It included the ZX Spectrum 128K +2A home computer, light gun, joystick, the Soectum version of the Licence to Kill computer-game, and several Spectrum-only, licensed James Bond games that all utilised the light-gun.

The EA FPS games were genuine sequels to GoldenEye, building off it and keeping things fresh. That being said EON and FRWL are in the same league. FRWL isn't quite as good sure but it's tactical edge w/the gathered weaponry, it's 60s aesthetic and Connery's performance make it great beyond its base gameplay. It's also addictive to unlock everything, it's RPG elements and unlocks light but a good incentive to keep playing. As far as the Craig games the first three I also love. Bloodstone catches my attention for it's simple gameplay and original Craog story, even if it's not great I love the effort and product as a whole.

This video was given to me as a general reccomended and I thought "I'll give it a try" and I'm so happy I did, on another note I cannot be 100% certain but there is a possibility we have a copy of "Shaken, not stirred" up in our loft/attic. Well researched, well presented, well done!

Wow, I am really impressed. The amount of detail, plus the care to summarize everything clearly, really helped make this a good retrospective. Another good feature is that it keeps personal stories and hyperbole to a minimum, being written more like a research project. Are any future retrospectives intended?
@Roriass5 жыл бұрын
Thanks, this was a passion project I wanted to do for a while, especially when I found that no one had really done a 007 video game retrospective before. If I were to do another retrospective it would have to be for a franchise that no one has done it on before. I really don't have the time at the moment to even plan another one... but maybe one day in the future.

I liked your intro, I like your idea, and I did like your video, but you can't call it "Manly Moments in Gaming", if you sound like you're giving a wine tasting seminar while talking about Castlevania. Man up your voice a little my Australian Friend. You're Australian for gods sakes, everyone knows how Australians are all a bunch of He-Man ass kickers right? .....Unless you are in fact a Kiwi. In that case I just look like an asshole XD
@Roriass10 жыл бұрын
Justin Bailey You know I did initially think about putting on a more macho accent for the show, but it just sounded forced so I decided natural was better... Though mentioning wine made me think that yes the original Castlevania has pretty well, much like a fine wine :P

Thomas wasnt a ninja as they are Japanese, and Kung Fu would imply they are Chinese, and the game is loosely based off Jackie Chan's 'Meals on Wheels' movie and the Pagoda scene from Bruce Lee's game of death.
@Roriass10 жыл бұрын
Yeah that makes sense, I mean what ninja wears white and is named Thomas after all :P I watched ScrewAttack's top 10 ninja so I just assumed he was one. Though 'Meal on Wheels' is an awesome movie and knowing that Kung Fu is loosely based off it makes me want to watch it again then play through Kung Fu again. Haven't seen 'game of death' but now I think I have to.
