Was Paul O'Grady buried here? Or just his service? He should have come home to Birkenhead. Where we truly loved him.

I also was a Choirboy here when Rev: Cooper was the Vicar. Also, attended the Old School across from St Mary Church. Home was just a few minutes away across the fields at the rear of Church. Not very fond memories from a village that looked down on new people and kids from the boys home. Also, treated mental residents at Eastry asylum in horrible ways. The headmaster at the Old School enjoyed punishing the kids with his bamboo cane ~~~~ I’m sure now the villagers are really snotty

"The crypt of St Leonard's Church contains a macabre mystery in the form of 6000 human skulls and 8000 thigh bones which scientists say are of a different type from any found found in Britain except in London's Spitalfields market. The Spitalfields' bones are of Roman date, while the Hythe bones date from 14th and 15th centuries. Furthermore, these Hythe people were 3 in. shorter than the average for Englishmen of the period." (AA Illustrated Guide to Britain) ------------- Does anyone know if a DNA test has ever been done on these bones? Extremely interesting mystery of an unknown tribe surviving in Kent up to the 15th century!

A beautiful church inside and out. I was born in Swanley village and attended Sunday school here, sitting around the font for stories and collecting the little stickers of Jesus's life. Later,as a teenager I helped with the flowers. It's a very child friendly interior: no horrific scenes to contemplate as you sing and listen. Such a lovely setting too. We,as children at the nearby local school used to go there for harvest festival etc. Seems a world away as I no longer live in the village. I envy the living and the dead who know this place.

Quoted from findagrave : (The church is a handsome building , with a square tower steeple at the west end. The inside of it is much ornamented by the several monuments of the "Wotton" family , most of whom lie buried in it) . It's the Burial place of Nicolas Wotton & Elizabeth Bamburgh - My 15th G.G. Parents - Sir Edward Wotton - My 13th G.G. Father - Sir Thomas Wotton Esq. - My 12th G.G. Father . I would love to see any photo's of my family .

My gg grandparents married here in 1551. Wyllum Battell and Cateryn Heman. The Battells possessed Bataylee Hall and the Manor of Ongar for generations. My gg grandfather came to the Va Colony is 1654 with 3 of his brothers. My family and I are going to visit next summer. I would live to contact a historian of the church?

Because in the beginning was the Word, there is first evidence of Christ's return in prophecy. I was shown this beginning in 2012 A.D. According to the Book of Daniel, Jesus has already returned and we have entered the "age to come" foretold by Jesus in the Harmonious Gospel of St. Mark, chapter ten, verse thirty on December 30, 2018 A.D., the Glorious Manifestation of Our King, Lord, and Savior. This comment provided on the 285th day of the 2nd year of the General Resurrection of the Dead. risen-from-the-dead.forumotion.com The specifics of the Book of Daniel include the foretelling of the exact days of Jesus' baptism, crucifixion, and return in glory. There is no more antichrist because the spirit of antichrist was destroyed by the breath of Jesus' mouth at the glory of His coming. As Saint John the Baptizer, I have been resurrected for more than sixty-five years.
