Who's this cadenza??
@T.PapavramiАй бұрын
Thanks for your interest. I copied by ears this cadenza when I was 14 from a beautiful recording of Julian Sitkovetsky made in 1955. I didn’t really verified later if I was doing exactly the same like him but it is a quite old cadenza I presume. I didn’t found a better one by listening other interpretations.
@decoltinioАй бұрын
@T.Papavrami wow, you're so good! Your interpritation of this concerto is one of the best I've heard. While this day i tried to find the author of this cadenza, i think that it's cadenza by Yampolsky(Sitkovetsky is his student), but i cant find sheet music
@decoltinioАй бұрын
@@T.Papavrami maybe you have sheet music of this cadenza? I would like to learn it) If you have it, pls send it for me if You can

THIS IS A HIGHLY EDITED RECORDING .one obvious example ( 7;08-7;10)
@T.PapavramiАй бұрын
Thank you. It was transmitted in live on Arte TV the day of the concert. (It is not a mix of two concerts.)
@arturgrabczewski3816Ай бұрын
@@T.Papavrami i am a professional musician violinist and I played for a professional orchestra for decades. I known how those live recordings work. They do make them live indeed. Then the sound engineers listen to the recording to see what didn't go write. Then the very next day all musicians come back to the stage dressed up the same as for the last night recording and fix all the problems, patching,etc. You name it.. We have done it like that many times. It's a sandard procedure
@arturgrabczewski3816Ай бұрын
Also if you know this concerto and you are a violinist you will see it's not natural and there is a patch in the spot I mentioned. It's actually quite poorly made They simply picked a wrong spot for the patch.
@T.PapavramiАй бұрын
@arturgrabczewski3816 that’s a pity if it’s right. No reason to do this as it was anyway made for a live transmission from Folle Journée. Here is just the copy Arte gave me and I thought it was same.

Listening to this performance any time I have a signal of depression for how many bad things are going on in this world. This performance reminds me that there is still a lot of beauty in this world. It’s just a matter to pay attention to it.
