Question..the arrow exhaust you firred..obviously you removed the exhaust flap valve cables..how does it run without a retune??

@chris-ip4pk still runs fine, the cables are still attached to the bike just tucked away incase I want to put the stock exhaust back on

@kristoftoth5767 if it's based on emissions then yes it should be euro 5 compliant because you still have your stock headers with the catalytic converter, the one in my video is just the slip on

Thanks for the video. What i dont like with the ace pro 2, is that in pure video mode, everything looks more yellowish compared to the ace pro. Not sure why this is happening.

@WiljanWiljan the white balance looks warmer on the AP2, but I think just a quick adjustment in post will fix that right up

How did you crack the fairing ? I have the same exact bike. Love it so damn much. I just did the break in oil change. I’m keeping this one forever lol. It’s still 100% stock. I can’t decide if I want to put the TST or the Yoshimura fender eliminator on it I slightly like how Yoshi keeps the stock turn signals but idk everyone goes with the TST I can’t decide which one looks better 😭 I am decided that I’m going to go with a racefit exhaust though.

I crashed on a ride up north, a little to much dip on my chip when taking a turn 🤷‍♂️ It's personal preference. I don't have one as you can tell and just went with integrated tail light. I like the clean look at the back. I did want the race fit at first but I something about the arrow sound just caught my attention.. but the race fit is beautiful !

Could. But its a matter of "worth it". Sales figures for the R6 are why yamaha pulled the plug. Also the R9 isn't a substitute if you want a bike that feels and sounds like it's attempting to reach orbit just to unlock it's power. If you want a bike that better in every single other metric, you have it. Im honestly happy Yamaha stopped listening to the squids. R9 adoption was almost unanimous among the teams despite given the option for both

@Rothbardy professional teams don't make decisions based on "cool new toy". Clearly you are a squid. While I have one of allocation, its not my only bike. The point of what I said is to crush the ego of squids trying to justify why a 30 year old bike is still "top dog". Its usually because they have emotional or monetary investment. Usually an 08 R6 that they try to brag to everyone saying it's a "15k bike"

Already ordered mine. When I was talking to the saleswomen she mentioned that one of their sponsored riders has already ordered 2 track prepped R9s for the next race season.

Yeah all but two yammie teams ditched their R6s for thr R9 because regardless of what squids say, its basic physics. 50% more torque at less than half the RPMs means your faster at going faster. Head to head R9 vs R6 videos are already coming out. Teams are posting lap times and its a staggering blow out of the R6. They are pulling out of corners so much faster and hitting top speeds significantly faster. 0-60 and 0-100 are dropping by more than a second on the R9 vs R6 and that doesn't sound that extreme but when you have fractions of seconds splitting the difference in some of these races, shaving fractions of seconds on corners and straights is giving the R9 the edge in all posted laptimes so far. As far as street use, its going to be way more enjoyable regardless if its urban environments or being an interstate bandit.
