This sounds great, the one thing I hated about the backbone was tearing down my case to use it every time, then my phone is vulnerable to being dropped and smashed. I've used xbox controllers in bluetooth mode on my phone, lag was never a major issue. When you start stacking latency, bluetooth on top of streaming, of course you're going to run into trouble. I don't stream typically, just play the games right on my phone, cellular data is bad where I am.

its just too expensive for the fixed sd slot, double usbc, ram and battery. i tested it too, and without AFMF it is quite low in diffrence between white ally. most games just around 4-10 more fps, for what... like 400$ or €, i send the X back, and get a reduced white ally again for 499. it they lower the price, its might be a better choice

I had the Ally X for a bit and while a nice device it does exactly the same as my gaming laptop just worse . Selling it and bought a Steam Deck OLED and Switch Lite and now they compliment my PC setup as now all my devices are different. The Ally X is just another Windows device . My Ally X is up on eBay UK if anyone is interested. Selling it for 700 ...

Nope but I use them on pc with one. I can use them on gaming controllers with no dac amp tho. Ps5 and Xbox controllers and smartphones work well

What are your thoughts about the fan noise? I have heard a lot of bad things about this projectors fan noise. People say the picture quality is superb but fan noise is extremely bad. Esp. At 4k 60Hz. What are ur thoughts?
