Ok, I used real butter and not margarine but other than that followed the recipe to the letter. The ribs were perfectly cooked. They were tender and falling off the bone. And, they were absolutely delicious. I have never seem my wife eat so many ribs in one sitting. Great recipe Shaun.

Please warn people that the canister vacuum accessories for the VS-12 are no longer sold and no one has one. SO that function is useless. I wish someone had pointed this out a week ago.
@Izzy-oc5jn Жыл бұрын
You have to call their CSR dept. to order it. The canister hose is the ONLY COMPATIBLE part for the VS.

good stuff here bud! do check out Goya Sazon for seasoning. In addition to the regular seasoning, this has MSG in it. Takes the food to the next level! It's what they use in all the bodega's of NYC.

Ribs looked great! Just a comment for the gentleman who said put them in the oven, I didn’t cook ribs today, but I have recently. It was 106 degrees on my back porch today! We don’t use our oven when it’s this hot. Austin XL and a Webber kettle on the porch. Fire one up and leave the heat outside! Thanks for the video.

Why not just put them in the oven when you wrap them in foil since the smoke is not needed at this point? They are wrapped in foil. Just a suggestion to save on pellets. Ribs look good bro.

You covered all the bases. Great detail, great job! Only one criticism...250 degrees is TOO hot, 4 hrs too fast. Gotta give em some love bro! I do mine at 180 to 200, low & slow wins the game. Course that's using the 3-2-1 method too.
@McFlyMan883 жыл бұрын
I don’t like my ribs that way. I like having to chew my meat. Otherwise just throw em in a crockpot IMO
@jonbassett80233 жыл бұрын
@@McFlyMan88 crock pot? Maybe that's how you cook your meats, the lazy way, but not me! That's a ridiculous comment. Pfft!P.S...TRUMP 2024!

100%nothing with going real low Ave slow, nothing wrong with going 250. But people that do 250 3-2-1 over cook them

You obviously didn’t watch his ENTIRE video. 🙄 When he was cutting the ribs, at the END of his video, the meat was literally falling off the bone while he was cutting them. That’s NOT an overcooked rib.

Using ground beef for a cheesesteak is the way to go when $$$ are in short supply. Ribeye is 12.99 lb.I bought a 5 lb chub of 73/27 ground beef for $1.99 lb. Used some of that for a budget friendly cheesesteak. Sautee onions, peppers separately. Brown beef, drain some of the grease, season beef, add in the peppers and onions and you got a good mixture. Add cheese of choice. Pile it into a heated roll and enjoy. I have had good philly's that were worth the $$$ paid, but this version is just as good at a cost of $3.00 or so.
