A sweet, romantic, small town romance that is so much more than a romance. It’s about family and aging and sickness and humor and so many of life’s failings and joys. The unexpected and honoring; the removal of dignity and giving it back. And dignity and respect for others. I thoroughly enjoyed the ins and outs of sorry banter and direct and indirect communication. And a couple who knows how they feel and aren’t afraid to share it.

Credit scores have nothing to do with how much money a person has. You can have a great credit score and not make a lot of money. You can have a bad credit score and make 6 figures. I know people like that. Very irresponsible with their money. Making over 6 figures but with lots of debt.
@janetterallison14 ай бұрын
I'm guessing that you're referring to the part in the story where Flynn runs a credit check on her? (At first, I thought this was one of those random bot comments.) Yeah, credit scores are just one hint as to a person's background and certainly don't tell the whole story, but they can also tell people if you've gone bankrupt, are heavily in debt--that sort of thing that can offer some insight into a person's background. They're just one area that people look at when they're researching someone. They don't tell the whole story.

I appreciate the effort of Ms. Rallison to create an entertaining, clean love story. It was creative, intelligent and witty. I imagine the written platform, versus audible might change the humor of this story. To me, at least, the narrator’s voice causes Belle to sound snippy and selfish. Perhaps the constant self-questioning and imagining what others thought was the root. In the end I’m glad the characters all grew and developed as people and learned from their mistakes. As a humble suggestion for the author, I think that more writing earlier in the book as to the physical demonstration and positive mental /emotional monologue of Belle towards her feelings for Flynn would create a more romantic, happier book. And close some other story arcs (Sebastian’s harassment?). Just a thought.

It's hard to know how the narrator is going to read the book and not all readers connect with all narrators. Try some of my other audiobooks and see if you like those narrators better.

Your stories definitely have more plot and depth compared to other audiobooks I’ve listened to and have loved your stories some much I’ve listened to four different ones in a row🥰Although I do wish they were a tad longer the ending always seemed cut short leaving me wanting to know more but ig maybe it leaves an opening to a possible 2nd story or maybe it’s just your writing style no need to say more after the moment they characters realize they like each other🤔

I'm so glad you like my stories. I've heard from other people as well that they wish they lasted longer. That's why I've started writing epilogues. Some of them also do or will have sequels. I just need to learn to write faster.
