Dude.... do you guys have the one where the late model flew out of turn 3 into the pond area between the dirt and asphalt track? I was there and watched it in person. Also if you can....i am really really looking for the Big block modified stuff, i was there with the CJ2 from PA and we hit one of those stumps that used to be in the turns before proper walls and flipped one full spin. I really really really want to get this video, I've seen the latter once but the former was on tv before.

I was a Medic at Baylands Raceway in Fremont, California in the late ‘80s. Nights like these were tough - seemed like we would never finish the feature.

Minor concussion, walked to ambulance under his own power. Rebuilt the car and got his first win a year later.

Why do safety crew feel they have to be on the accident scene in 0000.1 secs. Surely putting their own safety at risk charging out on to a hot racetrack isn't the smartest thing.

@@racingfani find it funny that you are missing the point. they signed up to do this, right? they are saftey crews and officals, their job is to make sure drivers are okay, and that everything is alright. i can understand that they could be putting their lives at risk, but that extra second waiting to get to the car to check on someone could mean life or death, and from a medic/saftey crew standpoint, that extra second may be important.

I have raced legend cars for a couple seasons on dirt and asphalt and never seen a yard sale wreck like that that is crazy and I can tell you what a legend car is not really built for that hard of a crash either with all that flipping I know that driver was hurting and sore only had a couple injuries
