Lovely tune. I found out about your music through my friend Kathrin. She said you recently played in the art centre where she works in Rostock and you were wonderful. She's nit wrong. xx

no man.. sorry, im not tryna b rude but this defeats the whole purpose of the song, the rhythm garcia had intended was meant to be and you tried to open portals - he's spinning in his grave atm. but more practice make more perfect, if it works for you personally then cool man I wont speak no more

I'm gonna be perfectly honest with you: I did a butcherisation of blues legend "Muddy Waters" to get here, but I'm _so_ glad I made this serendipitous mistake!!!

:-) i was just thinking prior to listening to this, and after listening to a few others, "there at last is a singer who doesn't get in the way of her singing..." and it's almost in your lyrics here .... there is magic in the universe.

Middle aged chap, brought myself up on Merchant (nodding to earier comment), THOSE ROCHES, Mckee, McGarrigles, Joan + Joni, Sandy, and a few you will have never heard of plus all the trad folkies. I know the female vocal. Dialing in to the these days so formulaic anodyne and confected radio 4 Front Row this evening... never mind in general so many singers with so much to say, none of which is interesting; indeed to quote Maria Mckee errself "To fabricate redemptive boasts/ Confusing all condemning most /Is feigning fidelity". 3 seconds in to Front Row, trailing you...."i dont need even a fourth second" and here i hear, at last, fidelity. Bring back real singing please. I think you can.

Wow, that was really so well done. When I first realized the tempo you were taking this song at I thought "oh this isn't going to end well! " But it actually works perfectly with the style that you put it too. The guitar player and fiddler really nailed it, and the harmonies... Black Muddy River now sounds like it was originally an old Irish ballad! wow!
