I still think that Sage is quite consistent even against current Chana (she will be nerfed for sure in the next patch). It's important to invest in some succulents (about 4) and if you have the hourglass unique I think that pairing it with some kunai can make battles against her quite easy. I just played 3 games with Sage and finished the run all three times, I am more focused on leveling Harkon at the moment:P

What do you mean? You can buy heroes for 300 gems, you are not forced to spend money. Can you elaborate?

While they rotate a free hero every week or so, there is no discount on its cost, its just a free way to test a hero out, and level it up before it's bought. If you have your eye on a specific hero, just go to the Hero tab at the bottom left of the main screen to look at them all and pick one to buy, then choose to either spend 300 gems, or real world cash. 300gems can be acquired either via watching ads, finding item cards, or buying the gems outright. You can gain 5 gems every ~30 minutes, and it only takes 60 ads or approx 30 hours to get 300 gems. This is not including the gems you get from the high end chests like player chests from upgrading items or rare chests from trophies.

For the start, i prefer mushroom for the damage. Apple and banana is more usefull in mid and late game. Sausage is usefull for physical damage dealer.

Always on unlocking new hero, don't spend it on instant chest open or gold :v

@@Shizuna560 I didn't really consider opening chests instantly and buying gold either, but a chest for 1.5k looks attractive.

I personally spent gems on heroes only, except for the occasional reroll when choosing hero for the run. There are so many items to upgrade, that I think a single 1500 gems chest won't change much!
