I bought the same radiator for my n55 e92 2011 and the heater hose is kinked cause of the lower coolant hose right above it (14:40 for precision). Is it possible they welded/manufactured my radiator incorrectly cause no matter which way I put the hoses on the hose stays kinked causing a leak at the metal fitting at the connection point .

Model and livery look great and exactly as described. (kinards are dive planes) Like your other Mini Champs Mercedes latches and wheels look exceptional. These things just don't look nearly as good in 1/43 scale, the scale that I largely collect. I'm still disappointed with Mini Champs lack of aerials and the lack of detail around the diffuser as you pointed out. Another great job.

great video,thanks for making this video for us to see closeup and your review of what this model is like in detail, gives us a great sense what we will get if we are deciding to buy,i find it a very different style to many super cars.i read the Valkyrie comes as close as possible to being a Formula One car,its a step away from aston martin usual styling of cars but being based on a formula one car styling.the real car was built for speed revving out to 11,000rpm and handling so we have to accept the styling, if one is buying for styling alone it might not tick all the boxes,but think its a iconic car and nice color green.thanks

@@Bossman525 i mean i paid $125 for this but I don’t think I would pay the $180-300 these are currently going for. The fake vents in the back of the model really bring it down for me but the weight of it might make up for the vents. This does come with a certificate too.

@ModelcarNick10 күн бұрын
Well I know BBR sells some pretty decent leather ones and I’ve seem others similar but they are hard to find under $40. Mostly look on ebay but if you want a real cheap display case hobby lobby selles them for $12. They are in the background of my videos with the white Bentley in it
@rvlyssup11 күн бұрын
Vid just popped up on my feed...talk bout timing. I have this color and it presents the model very well. Not a stripe guy myself but this combo is an exception. I also have the base in yellow (no stripes, black top) which is equally stunning to look at. Got lucky and found flawless paint from the factory. (patiently combing through stacks of GT500s) Price point on this model is spot on. The few gripes I have are most of the available GT500 models from Sams & Costco have atrocious quality paint, especially the ones that mimic "oxford white" paint. The flakes on the blue CFTP are off scale. Front wheels need to be wider; staggered difference on the 1:1 car is only 1/2 inch. It's a model so turning radius wouldn't matter anyway. Still worth $16 IMHO.
@ModelcarNick10 күн бұрын
I agree I wouldn’t personally pay more than $16 but I end up selling this one for $40 lol. Bought another all white gt500 with no stripes, no carbon wheels but the paint has a good amount of flake in it and I absolutely love this model

I had a 992 GT3rs and it was definitely an amazing model but I can say that GT Spirit has done an incredible job on their newer 911s. Even though they don’t open they offer great carbon fiber details. Also, obviously autoarts are incredibly but pricey

What is your mark for this model 1-10 when comparing to AutoArt 911 ?
@ModelcarNick14 күн бұрын
I think this is 7. Paint is great and it has good enough details but if you want the ultimate you have to go with autoart. The only reason to get the minichamps would be if you can find one for sub $100 which would be super hard to find for a good spec

@mrgrzes1 well I’d probably get the new GT Spirit pink/purple 991.2 GT3rs over the minichamps, should be releasing next month. (Im getting this one so you’ll see a review pretty soon) but the new 3rs autoart is coming out with looks really good. I just have a hard time justifying a $200+ model these days. That being said if you’re going to go with the minichamps absolutely do not spend more than $110, anything above that and it’s not worth it

great model. i only have the base version which even back in the day was hard to find. the base version also only has painted tail lights and a cheaper looking rear grille.
@ModelcarNick15 күн бұрын
One question I have about the base model: were they all targa top or was there a fix roof version? Also is the engine detail pretty much the same as the elite?
@ImperialDiecast15 күн бұрын
@@ModelcarNick mine looks like it has a targa top because it does have a thin gap behind the front windshield where the A pillar ends and the roof begins, but I havent found out how to open it as it seems to have clamped shut and I dont want to break it trying to force it open. But on images online I have seen the baseline model with the top removed and placed inside the box (i got mine without the box)

After about a year and half of having it in there I will say it seems to be cooling a little bit better. Huge pain installing though, I honestly recommend going with the oem one because they last another 100k miles and there’s no point in spending more when the car most likely wont last another 100k miles
@dominikn.5940Ай бұрын
It's a nice model but as nothing opens for the money I'd expect better detail on the outside. Pegs on the plastic pieces for the side lights in the front bumper and the DRL's is not okay. Also they really could have put proper photoetched mesh. Btw: Porsche uses plastic for the parts because these cars are meant to be driven and used and it is so much cheaper to replace a plastic bumper than a carbon fibre one.
