Great kit but not a great sound maybe needs tuning according to the room ambience

@@ChrisJackson-c3i we all get to tune our instruments the way we want to hear them. Thanks for the comment though.

Those three separate beats at 1:52 are always just completely astonishing to me. Awesome job!

Thanks for making this video! When you are playing, I notice their mounting system causes the rack tom to move & bounce more than your normal drum kit. Is that something that can be tightened or fixed? Also, do you prefer 2 ply or 1 ply heads on these drums?
@stevevorassАй бұрын
Yes, that's true. Since the bass drum is so light, well, all of the drums are so light, the tom does wiggle around more than usual. It hasn't affected my ability to hit the drum, though, so it's all good. They came with 1-ply, which gave a jazzier sound, and I'm using them in more of a rock context, so those 2-ply Evans heads make them probably a full note deeper. I also have a Superkick 2 (my kick drum of choice) on the batter side and an old Remo Fiberskin without a hole on the front. It sounds so much bigger than a 20". My other kit has a 26" - it's not that sound... but close.

Nice! I just got an inde kit and I’m loving the sound of it! The lightweight factor seals the deal!

Dug this, I just got an electric kit to try, and is such a different experience, but I bet it could be fun to have the variety of sounds available on a gig like this.

Thanks, Mike! What did you get? It works great for practicing without annoying your family too :) Also what lavalier microphone do you use? I used a $20 off of Amazon and it was worth the price as you can hear. ha.
@malonedrum9 ай бұрын
@@stevevorass I just got sent a kit from Fesley to review. It's a $500 Amazon thing, just fun to try as I don't have experience on these sorts of things. I use the Zoom F2 as my fav mic, but I do sync it later in post with my camera so I can tweak the audio eq/compression.

Listening to your sound here in Brazil, man. This acoustic is very good. I recommend listening to a song by "Zé Ramalho" here in Brazil. Congratulations 👏👏👏
Super! It's nice))) respect for the cover on "nobody"😉🙂

lovely! which sort of digital camera did you toy with for capturing this song? it could be cool for you to build a video-collab with fellow instrumentalists you can toy with Band hub to build it. It's super neat

One helluva song, this. Strong builds, tight as a group, poignant lyrics, excellent chord progression. Sometimes the most powerful lyric is the word not said (2:20) "I just--- ." Thanks Mr. Vorass for putting this up here in YT.
