my 2001 doesnt have that plastic cover over the drum brakes on the front, is that supposed to be on all of them or only certain model years?

Servus frage hab auch eine ZL 900 der vergaser tropft wisst ihr an was das liegt hab Schwimmerkammer neue Dichtung rein gemacht und schwimmerventil gewechselt an was kann es noch liegen ?

I had one of these (in black also) in 87 I loved is . Should have got rid of the wife instead of the bike. I miss the bike way more than her, although she was pretty dang fun to ride too.😊 I’m now looking for another but in red this time. Hope you enjoy your as much as I did.

Nein auf keinen Fall, es ist relativ einfach, man(n) muss nur etwas Geduld mit bringen und auch etwas Feingefühl sollte man(n) haben .... da höchstwahrscheinlich alles etwas verklebt und etwas Korrosion angesetzt hat. Viel Glück und allzeit gute Fahrt

Ja, danke. Eingestellt von meinem Kawasaki Vertragshändler (über 30 Jahre Kawasaki Erfahrung), und vor jeder Wintereinlagerung eine Ladung Vergaserreiniger von Profi Products durchgejagt - so bleibt der Leerlauf und auch die gesamte Laufkultur immer 1A :).

Nice ZL1000 and mufflers ! :-) Where did you get/found these mufflers from and they made of stainless steel? I own a red Zl900 (look at my video's) its the most great bike I ever drove :-)

Yes, the green one is a ZL600A. In 0:32 you can see a black ZL600A. All others are ZL900 and ZL1000.

The ZL riders are special :). Nowadays, hardly anything is sold anymore, but only exchanged in the community. Place an ad in various motorcycle newspapers and social networks. This is how I made many contacts and got to know many ZL riders with whom I swap parts. Please excuse my bad English. Greetings to Brazil!

Thanks :). No, only searching for parts around the world. And for engine: Important oil always at the highest level and always correct valve clearance.

Sie hat etliche Nummern eingelasert. Hatte extra von der Homepage des Herstellers die Artikelbeschreibung ausgedruckt das sie auch eine E-Zulassung hat. Wollte der Tüv-Prüfer aber garnicht sehen weil der Klang im absoluten Rahmen ist. Die Verarbeitung der Endschalldämpfer ist übrigens auch sehr gut.
