Because people haven't got a clue and never driven one. It is faster in power mode than many old BMW, Audi and Mercedes cars under 2.5 litres.

@@monetarnie3841ohh yes thats very true, i myself own a 2012 prius 1.8 and have raced it with one of my buddies who owns a subaru forester and wow i have noticed a lot of power in the prius when i overtook the subaru at 140kmh in power mode. Amazing just amazing ❤

The power mode is quite nice, frequently switch into it to zip around traffic faster.

Good Video, but those roads looked a bit Narrow. Granted the motorcycle doesn’t need a wide road, but when you come upon a car, well it is a bit uncomfortable

Curious to see what the 250 gets up to. My XL185 was pretty fast and I never got over it being stolen by this spoiled rich kid either! So I've just acquired a badly neglected, 1978 XL250. It's been left in the elements, in sad shape, and brakes are frozen. But I can handle it! I've had worse. I'll give it the treatment it deserves, and when I'm done, she'll run like a damn rocket again! I may do a video series.

These are great bikes! I Traded a Kawasaki 125cc. in on a Honda XL185. Sadly, it was stolen by a spoiled rich kid. Cops did nothing! Recently acquired a 78 XL150cc. Neglected & left to the elements. Frozen brakes, but the rest is cosmetic. Did a prelube, fluid svc, w/a carb clean, some fresh gas, and damned if it didn't fire up and run!!

I was surprised this thing could move , I drive my gfs Prius to work sometimes to save on gas and I didn’t know what the power mode did I didn’t really expect it to make the car go faster but it did 😂

The most hated car….. people : it’s slow! Me: ( allot of non hated car are slower). People: It’s drives like crap! Me: ( it drives more comfortable than allot of other cars). People: It’s ugly! Me: (every part of the car haves a function and a reason. It’s very practical for his class and it’s streamlined) Fact! : people just say what other people saying. People are sheeps. The prius is mosty with allot of options! . Drives comfortable! Is fast enough for most countries! ! Is practical! And very reliable!

@@wagon3864 well specially for my small country. Maxspeed is 100 km/H here everywhere. And it’s flat. To crowded. Extremely expensive gasprices and roadtax. And extremely heavy climate rules. So if you’re not ready for a EV for different reasons. Than here the prius is your best option I drive my November 2012 Prius for 5 years now. It was my father’s company car for a little more than 4 years. It got 201.000 kilometers on the clock. Had zero problems. Or costs. Just the normal basic maintenance. It’s very cheap.

i own 2010. this thing is fast as hell in traffic, i fill it with 93 premium , so i dont have EGR valve problem anymore, and its around 8,8-9sec 0-60mph with 93 compared to regular gas.

Really cool car and excellent road. If I may, trouble with POV cam in that kind of car, being so low, is your video is essentially 14 minutes of a dashboard. In a perfect world, you would have mounted you cam on your dashboard/hood to provide some better footage of the beautiful landscape.

weird, back in the day my 1978 kawi ke175 would do 120 km/h easy.... 125 down a hill, cource at 13 i didnt weigh 120lbs hardley, unless my boots were soaked lol.,.... way better suspention on yer honda though....
