I haven’t yet but I’m sure it’s delicious! I would actually mix cream cheese and melt American cheddar on top for a bit of a jalapeño popper flavour!

I love Ottogi Cheese Ramyun, I ate these a lot during coronavirus lockdown. My favorite way to eat it is either melt in a slice of American cheese into the broth or use milk instead of water to get it extra creamy! 🧀

I'm just now trying these for the first time and enjoying them, but I understand what you mean. The flavor is not blowing you away but still good. What would you recommend is your favorite tasting Noodles I can try? Also, how do you feel about chili crisp oil?And do you have a favorite?
@SIASlurpsАй бұрын
Ahhhh that’s a big question! Are you looking for Taiwanese noodles (like the Momofuku ones)? A soup noodle? I love Samyang Buldak, Mie Goreng, Shin Ramyun, The Han Kitchen and anything by Ottogi, generally speaking! Oh, and Liuzhou River Snail noodles and broad bean noodles! LOVE chili crisp. Holy Duck Chili Oil (they’re local here in Canada) and Fly by Jing are what I’m digging right now!

so, would you recommend adding some Chinese black vinegar?

I’d actually first recommend using less water to see if that affects the flavour. And then adding more black vinegar if you dig those sour notes!

Hot and Sour Soup instant ramen... interesting! I always prefer a noodle with a good bite, more al dente. Think I will hunt these down! Hopefully easy time since im in the US in a medium/big city. Ill probably do a bit less than water than you did see if that helps!

Try adding (Stir-fried Dried Anchovies in Red Chili Paste)of korean food, to ramen soup. It tastes very similar to instant ramen soup. I think it would be similar if you also added green onions and red pepper powder. Ramen Sari is a method of pulling noodles, steaming them, and dryed, and then frying them in oil. 고추장과 참기름(볶아진 식용유, 정도)과 몇마리의 마른 멸치를 넣어도, 한국의 라면스프와 비슷한 맛이 될거라고 생각합니다. If you add red pepper paste and sesame oil (fried cooking oil, degree), and a few dried anchovies, I think it will taste similar to Korean ramen soup.
