I know your parents. Wonderful people! Your mom showed me places you’ve been. So beautiful. When you camp, you should include some of that in your videos too! Keep it up !

i randomly searched to see if anyone made video from kinney's ford. taking off kyaking there today; but i go upstream paddling then float back
@ethanstrattan93046 ай бұрын
great video! that was football team wave you hit on middle keeney, it's real hard to see from upstream. hits like, well, a football team. z gets a bit easier if you catch the eddy to the right of the starting moves before heading down through the ledges. Your friend then flipped on Reactionary (the wave that has that diagonal shape) and then tablesetter hole, which nicely set him up to almost hit table rock! you did the right thing getting back to right of center before reactionary, but then you have to drive with hard right boat angle to punch it and not get pushed into tablesetter.

@rungavagairun Жыл бұрын
GoPro might be, but you had a phone in your hand that wasn't filming. If you lost your balance or slipped and dropped your phone, best case scenario, it goes for a swim, worst case, it's gone with the current.

Can you give any more details about the location (and what it's like!) of the FS campground near the put-in? The FS website doesn't list it and I've never heard of it. Might check it out this fall when I go down.

We did not see any campground near the put in unfortunately! Maybe it is further up the road.

It was going to be a busy day. After running the lower we were going doen to Big Sandy. We were the first to put on that morning. Great run, first time. There was no shuttle at the takeout, so we started walking. Met the shuttle as we reached the top. Long hard walk up hill. and we got to run the Big Sandy after a short drive.

The backcountry sections weren’t busy at all. We ran into quite a few day hikers in the paradise and cascade canyon area but they all were long gone before sunset! Toughest part was securing the permit. Get there early in the morning to stand in line.
