I know there was another train that was similar. It was called a 2102 cow receipt train and 21 0 1 cow receipt train.

Are they still using these trains, or have they all been retired??? This is sad to watch, I loved riding these trains as a kid, I still loved riding them when I moved back to Calgary as a young adult. So many memories!

we still have anout 40 U2 cars running , including car 2003 which was the very first car to run on mainline. . I imagine we will keep them running until all the series 10 trains are online. that will take years.

Very sad but also amazing to see at the same time. I really loved these trains and to see Edmonton and Calgary aren't Edmonton and Calgary without them... I know they are getting up there in age and need replacing but I just love their simple 70's blocky design. Also very cool to see just how lightweight the shell of the trains are compared to the bogies... One forklift can move half a train body like that? Amazingly lightweight fibreglass shell construction!

Nice Car, great sounding engine, two things come to mind ♫♪ My name is John Lee Pettimore, just like my daddy and his daddy before. And if it only has a AM radio it should not have to have modern plates, vintage plates should be enough. Are you going to be able to get proper tires for it in 2023?

My dad had one from 51-54, while he was in the service. Little note he told me about. Those flat head straight 8's Pontiac's had cooling tubes that ran through the block and they would clog. Can cause a burnt valve. Happened to him. Just a bit of info for you. Like the dog, seems like he likes a ride. Be well.
