I fix the butternut squash similar to sweet potatoes with some briwn sugar ir honey cinnamon and bit of butter so good baked in oven after i split in half and scoop the seeds I wonder if you could roadt the seeds like pumpkin seeds

Yes I have been told you can roast the seeds just like pumpkin unfortunately pumpkin seeds are not my favorite but I say go for it 😀

Great haul…looks like you have a good food pantry there.What town do you live in?We are in Farmington, they have a lot of good food pantries around here as well as churches that do the hot meals.

@ oh cool…the Catholic Church pantry is good.Do you ever go to the one at the hospital?If you use that hospital anyone can go…it’s nice fruits and veggies mostly.Have you ever gone to any of the Winslow Community Cupboard pop up pantries?There is a schedule on the website.They always have a ton of fresh veggies…you would be closer than we are to some.There is one in Rome, Starks, Norridgewock, Anson…those are probably the closet ones to you.I watch your videos and I thought I recognized you.I am recently disabled after a car wreck and my Mom and I go to a couple pantries.

Yes we do go to them all when we can I'm so glad you are able to get to the pantries and glad the accident was not worse and you have come out differently but still here hope you have a wonderful day ☺️

@ thank you…yeah it happened in April…I’ve come a long way considering what happened…and hopefully one day I will be able to walk again with no cane or pain…that’s my goal anyway…I enjoy your hauls and I kept telling my Mom hey they get some of the same things we do…didn’t realize you were close by…I shop a lot in Dollar General in your town because ours sucks…maybe I will run into you and your Mom sometime!

Add the salad too soups stews or make wilted lettuce salad with bacon grease dressing if can't eat raw.

Great food haul! So nice to get all of that canned fruit. I’m in Atlantic Canada (New Brunswick, your next door neighbour). Canned fruit prices here are ridiculous. Have a super weekend

We got 2 containers of grapes today. I saw on Facebook a lady froze them and then put dry jello in them. I am going to try this. I have never had bok choy. I am going to try it since you like it so much. Your food pantry hauls are always do good. That is a great idea for the pumpkin cake thing.

Didnt see any meat. The bananas dont look good. Are you able to actually make a meal out of what you received .

I'll come up with a meal for a video I can be creative lol the bananas have a day or 2 for eating then into bread or the ninja creami no meat because all they had was fish and I am allergic to fish 😞 the bananas came from the main food pantry the produce came from a hospital food pantry

I make like regular spaghetti with it. You cut it in half clean the seeds put a little butter on it. Turn it upside down on a baking pan in the oven when it’s done you scrape it and it’s like a spaghetti inside then you just put sauce on it.

I used to make “double” spaghetti w the squash . Bake cut in half long ways, fork strands out, put over regular spaghetti w sauce over both

I grow butternut squash and they make delicious pumpkin pie, breads, muffins etc . . . I use spaghetti squash just replace the pasta with squash in regular spaghetti
