دکتر صدای خودتون نیست فکنم روی این ویدئو🥲، یا من دارم اشتباه متوجه میشم؟

So, how if we didn't have the list of number at risk annually (or per time follow-up)?
@am1rsafavi-naini356Ай бұрын
Then forget to do this extraction, as you will get a false estimate of HR (I tried this myself a couple of times). The only way is to email the authors and kindly ask for their data, or for univariate HR and CI. Although it is rare to get any response, sometimes it works (try to find the email of the first author, as corresponding authors are usually busy).

So what is the best way to extract the data from KM if they did not report the number at risk?
@am1rsafavi-naini3565 ай бұрын
There is no safe method that you can use to extract this information. Please don't do this :) If you play with an example, you will see unreliability of extracting HR without having the number at risk
@am1rsafavi-naini3565 ай бұрын
You can email the corresponding author though, and ask for more data

@@am1rsafavi-naini356 Yah I think no one will reply, unfortunately, but I have been able to benefit a lot from your both videos.

hi amir, can you do data extraction and maybe also analysis for a meta for me? $
@am1rsafavi-naini3567 ай бұрын
Sorry, I am afraid I can't. If you are a student, I guess doing it on your own will pay for the time you spend on it. But anyway, good luck.

I waana thak you, for your really helpful video and explanation👌🏻 I have 1 question, if we wanna get HR by using fist sheet l, what do we write in the expected events box? There is nowhere in the article that mentions it
@am1rsafavi-naini356 Жыл бұрын
You can find the expected events in the manuscript text usually (for example the total number of survived, or percent of events, ... in that group). Remember that papers that didn't present events at each time point are usually low-quality, and this method of estimating HR is susceptible to error.

Hi. Im conducting a systematic review where the information from this video is very useful for me. Unfortunately, I still find it difficult to do even after watching the video. Id be willing to pay if you could guide me through 2 or 3 examples from papers relevant to my own work. Could you provide me with your email so I can get in contact? Thanks

Yup, email me at [email protected] and we will arrange a meeting to do one of them
