Fungi and bacteria feed the nutriants to plants, if you can find a way to preserve this ecosystem it will cut costs.

Thinking about wind speed soil quality monoculture foliage thickness noziles on spraying might save you a lot. Half the water from spraying goes into the air. Use a hose that the end just drags on the ground. This will save heaps of water. Think of the microbs , dont till find another way. Wind breaks could help just coppise them and shread the slash for micronutriants.

Fresh water whats that, water without money being poured down the thing. Soil erosion run off fertilizer. Lost land. Thinking of water in isolation is not addressing the problem. Wind speed,desecation of the plants and soil, no shelter belts to mitegate wind effects on pastures. Nothing but short vegetation on one vast monoculture. Science is to reductive to address this as it should be addressed. In the future the water supply will be toxic to the babys because were expediant and lack diversity.

Protect the fungi and bacteria from uv pulverizing tilling and chemicals. Thats $$$ staying on the farm.

Bare earth must be the dumbest thing to do to soil and profit. Find a green cover that cant compete with the crops. The latest science around plant nutriant uptake will give you a much better profit margin and save on collatrial damage. Bring reductive has its draw backs.

😂he doesn’t even do it properly. Says to do full sweeps of the knife but doesn‘t do it himself. Doesn’t seem to teach people to use the full length of the steel either. Alliance has always been the better option😂

You could do one fly over and make the bait last longer if the poison was in a bar like a chew bar. Have the pioson intermitantly spaced in the bar. Have a lenght of string hanging out one end so it gets tangled in the canopy.

Comments on spraying...drone for praying. Second harvesing,the thought of using portable multiple conveyors to more fruit to the end rows into tubs/boxes, which could be designed to be moved from row to row?..just a thought from a Florida citrus grower rethinking high density citrus.

UK farmers are walking into disaster by ignoring this problem too. Strong glyphosate does deal with it but it spreads so easily on tyres, shoes and hooves.
