So glad I’m from the Metokur (back when he didn’t sell out all his anti grifting principles, or have a fake cancer with symptoms that don’t make any sense) school of thought where you want to stay anonymous, almost never take Internet stuff seriously, and just laugh at regards online. It’s pretty weird just how much people over share about themselves.

Yes and no: Yes: Alternative anonymous accounts for trolling / super sus or hot takes or just to chat and have fun without limits. No: People kind of like sharing their personal lives, lessons, accomplishments and everything else. I think it definitely goes too far, especially when for financial gain (like what happened to those kids of streamers whose lives were basically ruined). But I can also see this as a kind of evolution of humanity. Maybe this is the first signs that some people just want to share everything like a hive-mind.

You don't go around telling strangers on the street all of your personal information, so why would you yell it out to millions of people on the internet? So many bad actors are out there. I try to compartmentalize any social media I have, let alone have any personal info for anyone to see. So, so weird seeing people not paranoid about their own information.

So, I can't side with you 100% on this one, but that's mostly on account of me knowing _far too much_ about the internet to say that it, 'really isn't that serious' on the whole. There's parts of it that are, there's parts of it that aren't. There's parts of it where you can exist anonymously- or at the very least, apart from your personal identity- and parts of it where you can't. There's also people who could benefit from investing less time into the internet than they currently are, or people who could benefit from detaching _from_ their personal identity, online, with regards to what they talk about.. But it goes both ways. In the same way that a closeted person can find themselves, or their community, in an online space that's safer than their immeditate surroundings- someone looking to spout the worst kinds of hatred imaginable can find refuge as well. There's a balance to everything, and *the way* that balance is shifting at any given moment, _is_ serious. *Is* important. Especially if we're going to preserve those aforementioned freedoms, for as many people as is reasonably possible. Likewise; The moderation, and self-government of the front-facing internet.. plays a _very important role_ in preserving that. People who say that anonymity shouldn't be allowed to exist- _are insane._ *We need* the free flow of information- but at the same time, _what constitutes_ that information, matters. Come to think of it it's probably one of the most important issues we're facing today. The solution isn't to be rid of anonymity- it's not to wholly enable it either- rather, it lies somewhere in the middle. All that is to say; I urge you, to urge people _to,_ not so much 'take it seriously', but *recognize the importance* that online communication has come to hold in recent years. Even if recognizing that importance means stepping away, or making a point to establish yourself separately from your personal identity. Because irrespective of _how_ you choose to communicate, _what_ you choose to communicate *is* important. Especially _yourself._ As in, _you._ These videos are great, and you've definitely helped a lot of people- _Including me,_ you ought to know. I'd just hope that maybe I could help give my own nuanced perspective since- knowing what we know now.. I don't think taking the internet back to the way that it started is a great idea. You'd have to take the people back to how _they were_ too - and, for better or worse, that definitely isn't going to happen.. (Should I use airport security as an analogy? Is that too much? ... Would we go back knowing what we know now?.. idk.. but it *is* _important._ Serious. Is my point. At least to the extent that we don't allow for the absolute worst. But either way, cheers. You've done a lot of good with this project, and again, you ought to know it)

Broadcasting every little thing in your life on the internet is strange enough, but adding their real names just makes it 10 times worse. Its like a stranger in Walmart telling you their life story when all you asked is if they know where the bread aisle is.

Idk why but I thought of the WoW Blizzard forums in 2010 when the company actually mandated everybody that used the forum to show their real names and oh boy did that get them in trouble. Point is don’t reveal too much about yourself online because this world keeps getting dangerous and risky. Keep to private information out of the public hands, use name handles or pfps that are for non-work uses like video games, be kind to each other but don’t troll too aggressively lol and yeah I think that’s pretty much it. Just stay safe!

Definitely. So much can happen so fast, and sometimes a little reminder of mortality and how fragile everything is can be healthy. It's a reminder to (as you said) appreciate the things and people you have. One thing I can say is that everyone got very lucky as well. What could have been there could have been borderline apocalyptic had it not skirted the Mexican landmass and lost a significant amount of energy first. The overall trendline for hurricanes in Florida is... not good...

Amen, thoughts and prayers to both anyone who lives along the coastlines and North Carolina. As fortunate as I am living in South/southwest US, I am glad that a tornado or hurricane doesn’t threaten my area and destroy my house like a pair of hunters. I think almost this year or last year we barely had a tornado come to my area but it was safe & sound. As much as I like to think for myself & friends/family it must suck having your property destroyed or lost by such a natural hazard. Sounds great to me! I'm currently getting over being sick right now, but I've only got 1 month to my basic ship date, so I don't really have much of a choice but to hit the gym consistently. Thankfully I don't have a cough, and I always make sure to go when there is literally no one around to minimize the chance of spread. I recently modified my bicep routine on the advice of Dr Mike Israteal after he suggested that EZ bar / standing curls are more axially fatiguing and don't put enough time-under-tension for the bicep muscle. He said that he got huge gains after switching to lying curls, so I'm going to give it a try tonight and see how it goes. Definitely feel the "lock-in" vibe for the winter. Will be 110%.

I've been in the gym since early winter 2022; I try to tell people don't wait till the start of the year or whatever excuse people make, the sooner you start the sooner you get results you want and the sooner you build the habits you need to get and keep the physique you want. I've been on a calorie deficit routine, so I've been pushing myself at the gym every day i can doing as much as possible with as little food as possible. I feel the opposite about wing span because im not 6ft+ i can go hard on leg day and notice, especially with my previous obesity I can go harder on my legs since my joints and muscles are stronger there compared to my chest. My delts are starting to pop out more as I lean out so all the more reason to cut fat, my only issue is i notice im losing muscle more than when i was 25-35%fat, not 1 to 1 with my fat loss but it's getting closer as i start to lean out. trying to cut my fat % from 21 to 10-15 and then focus on re bulking back my previous lean muscle peak. Also yeah I'm in that hurricane cone, so i'm currently making plans to not die from that but im not too worried atm.

Hell yeah man, I also locked in for my Winter Arc since Oct1st, getting 100% consistent on my nutrition is the main goal for me here, already noticed benefits of doing so in the gym as far as the intensity I can bring. And I know exactly what you mean about the tren twins haha, I’m natty but watching their stuff is unbelievably motivating; that ‚more pain = more gains’ back day they uploaded recently has been on repeat before pull sessions for me😂 There’s also something to be said about the idea of the ‚Winter Arc’ itself; getting immersed in that mood/aesthetic or whatever you wanna call it really does have tangible benefits I feel, sort of like getting into a holiday spirit but for gymbros haha
