Привет, Томас 😊 Спасибо большое, очень приятно! Эх, я хочу снимать новые видео, но не могу их выложить. У нас заблокировали Ютуб, в итоге я не могу ни смотреть видео, ни выкладывать свои. Я пробовала с VPN, тоже не получилось... Жаль бросать канал, я в него вложила душу и много сил, но пока вот такая ситуация. Если разблокируют, то я с удовольствием возобновлю свои старания 😁

I am Filipino Anglo indian , brought up by my Anglo mother and grandmother. And of course only saw British and American movies from my childhold, born 1966. So I was watching these movies and t.v. pictures from an early age. My Filipino father was a musician and as abroad all my childhood, don't know any Tagalog.

In my country, schoolgirls are learning woodwork, technical drawing, etc. My niece has a pink-coloured drill (дрель). Pink puts her men & boys off from borrowing her DIY tools that have that colour. Pink is for ladies and gay men.

Bengali is the name of the Bangla speaking ethnicity or community. Also Bengali is the name of the Bangla speaking people's tradition and culture.But Bengali is also declared as a language of the Bengali ethnicity in English language when United Bengal and United India was the colony of The British empire.That's why there is no word "Bangla" in English language. Bengali language means Bengali community's language "Bangla". Now a days in Social media Both the word "Bengali" and "Bangla" is used to denote the language of Bengali ethnicity.

You should know - in English we also call something expensive "dear". Like, this food was very dear. It's a little rare, but I think the meaning of a person being "dear" to you, in both languages, comes from the word for expensive, and therefore valuable to you.
