Great question! It can be so confusing when the last card that’s supposed to give us clarity leaves us questioning the card we pulled. That’s okay, we just have to work on it a little bit more. Here’s how. First, let’s challenge a couple of assumptions. 1. "Where can I find help" is not necessarily positive. 2. The idea that the Tower card is always negative. Help is always great, but where to find it doesn’t have to be. Also if we remove a little bit of the negativity from the Tower (you know, give it the benefit of the doubt) we can agree that it’s pointing to chaos, disorder, the unexpected. Therefore, you will not find help in a calm, organized peaceful place. Government? No. An authority figure? No. The place to look for help will be chaotic, messy and in a place where you are completely uncomfortable. Maybe a creative space? Or someone you don’t normally take advice from? Maybe a room full of strangers? Let me know if this help you make sense of it :)

Tiffany Joseph I think I understand so in other words when I question like a negative card in a positive position or like this example here could I look at it as saying that I will find help in someplace as you state as well that’s uncomfortable that’s not the norm possibly even in a place where there is disruption? I have a question could you do a tutorial with examples spreads on how to read a Tarot card with positive cards in negative positions and negative cards in positive positions?

Decide on the spread and the question before you start, and focus on this while you shuffle the cards. When learning a new spread I also like to do "dry runs" (shuffle and lay the cards out in the positions a few times without reading) so that there is no hesitation, I have the muscle memory of where the cards go.

It's one of those decks that keeps revealing new details the more I use it! Do you have any backstory to the deck you got from 1984? Who owned it, how was it used? Have you connected with it?

@@mywanderingfooltarot800 A tarot tuber was selling the it and I had been searching for a vintage edition. She said it was from the 70s, but after researching, I realized it was a1984 edition. I did a little back and forth negotiating and ended up getting it for a really reasonable price. It turned out she was selling off her whole collection because she had become an evangelical and was instructed to get rid of all her tarot decks. I didn’t find that out until after I purchased the deck. So it was a bit strange. Not sure who owned it originally. But I love the deck and am happy to have it.
