Lots of deserved comments for Phil and Chester he... absolute genius, but as a bass player I have to mention Mike Rutherford on this ....just sits in the pocket, doing his thing...a true master of the bass and so underrated imho. Great clip of the best band in the world....thank you 😊

I have great empathy for Phil. I don’t know how he’s doing today but I wish him all the best.

What a difference a P.A. and a stadium make in fattening the overall sound. So glad I saw them in 2007 (their best last concert run).

And the musicians remained on stage - quite the testament to not only their skills but their commitment to performance. Leland Sklar did a podcast about this night.

Natalie can romanticize the random things and struggles we go through in life through her cool pop-rock music. Her songs are so sincere and relatable.

Phil is actually is in the same league with neil, its just phil's voice overshadowed his godly drum playing

It's interesting hearing the famous drum solo from "In the Air Tonight" on unproduced drums. Interesting also he describes it as "Noose around his neck". I take it because he's got to play it at every concert he ever does for the rest of his life.

I have to admit growing up I never knew the "Voice of the 80's" was such a phenomenal drummer until I started to get into more prog music in the late 80s.
Not growing up a Genesis fan, I really had no idea of their virtuosity (I grew up in the 80's when they were more mainstream) but Gdamn! Phil Collins is a truly incredible talent not only in front of the kit, but behind it. He really can do it all.

I've been a Genesis fan since '73 and have been playing guitar since '74.. I grew up on progressive rock, jazz fusion and hard rock. The other day, a drummer who I work with asked me, "Who is your favorite drummer?". I went completely blank for a few seconds and then said, "Phil Collins".

What an amazing bit of footage; I used to live in Chiddingfold around that time and used to see the huge trucks pull up with fat cables trailing everywhere like spaghetti - I did sneak in once for a nose around but I think they were all down the crown for lunch!! Not sure how regularly they booked the place for rehearsals being local lads, but when I saw them there it was more late 80's.
