Hello sir! i was wondering if you could help me, so curretnly i am using an LMT LTE-18 router with SIM card but the speed's are horrible so i want to buy a Tp-link archer ax23 but there is one problem, i don't understand what is a modem and how does it work, because i watched a set up video of the ax23 and it said that i need to connect so something called modem, but i dont understand how everything works, can i just get the ax23 and connect the cable to my lmt routher which has the SIM card and use the ax23 as my other router to connect to my pc?

Don't buy this router. Even though it has 4 antennas there is no improvement in wifi signal range and speed. My wifi 6 device getting only normal speed in 2.4Ghz.

Mine stopped recognizing fresh batteries. It's in excellent condition with minimal use. I remove the batteries when I'm not using it. Battery compartment is clean. I tried a pair of rechargeable batteries and then a pair of alkaline batteries. I did not mix battery types. Any idea what's wrong or how to fix?

Good router but I’d still recommend using at least one or two wifi extenders paired in mesh mode if you got a big house or live in an older apartment building with brick walls might need a booster for the 5GHz band.

You should have changed the ISP modem from route mode to bridge mode as it warned. Then the front ISP modem would be just a transparent and not make the same stuff as your TP LINK,. If not put in bridge mode, you will have two local area networks in a row and also "double NAT" which is bad.

Hi. I just bought this modem because of its advertised Gigabit WAN port. I set it up, but I noticed that the WAN port is fixed to 100Mbps Full Duplex. How do I switch it to 1000Mbps as advertised? I went through all the settings but was not able to find the setting for it. Thank you in advance!
