I know this is from awhile ago, but this seems to be just installation. Do you have a video of the engine coming out?

You have a video on a 2012 V8 jeep grand Cherokee radiator removal and you skip SO MUCH important information. I'm so fd on this job because of your video. Can you at least tell me if the fasteners for removing the bumper are they one time use????? I can't remove them without breaking them.... information please I'm so fking desperate. Edit. Every video skips/leaves on the bumper and grill. I don't understand how to access the tabs on the bottom of the radiator to release it from the condenser.

Respect to you for creating a more reasonable solution instead of just settling for buying another subframe. I have a 2018 Rogue and I know for sure this is thre same issue Car hss 176k miles and already replaced the struts and lower control arms and the noise is still there. My mechanic has not been able to replicate the issue but I think they’re just looking at the wrong place. Might be time to handle this on my own… appreciate uoir video 👍🏽

I wonder if the 2009 works the same way. My friend's mechanic said he dropped the engine and charged $250.

Do you need an alignment after doing this since the subframe is not being removed?

Thanks for the video. So I assume these are the HID headlights? The halogen headlights wouldn't have ballast and igniters, correct?

Just done this to my 2008 Nissan Rogue. Problem solved. By the way anyone that needs a tire to cut and do not have one, any tire store in town will give you all the tires you could ever cut up for free. They have to pay for their disposal.👍👍👍👍

Just did this. Took about 3.5 hours with a healthy toolbox. Do yourself a favor and: 1. remove that silver bolt/washer contraption thingy (it's a mounting post for the engine cover) at 2:02. It's a 10mm hex. With that and a little tug on that plastic front crossbar, the alternator will come right out, and go in just as smoothly. 2. Drain the radiator. You're going to make a mess anyway pulling those hoses off, and you'll need to refill and burp. No way around it. Just save the hassle. 3. Removing the battery and PCM make taking the fan out easier. Pulled it up and to the right. Did take some wiggling/wrestling. 4. That bolt trick he mentioned is essential. You can also use a screwdriver or punch. 5. Removing the O2 sensor is not necessary. Mines was so seized it felt like it was gonna break. Just leave it alone, go around it. Good luck DIYers!

Couple tips - 1) remove 4 bolds from the AC compressor and move it aside, that way you don't have to fight with the lower bolt on the alternator. 2) When removing / installing, remove the 2 radiator clips so you can move the radiator back a little to give you more room to remove the alternator and nod damage radiator fins

A Big Thanks for the cost effective fix. My Rogue was making the same noise when I press the throttle and let it go, also on bumps... they sell the subframe bushing now but I don't want to replace them because you'll need to remover the entire subframe and beat them out... also because you'll need to re-align the car and it's just a bunch of work...Thanks again!!
