I have an iQ Ninja and I had mine on high for 6 minutes. It didn't even try to get thick. What am I doing wrong here?

Mine went from heavy cream, to whipped cream, to milk. I have no idea what went wrong... 😞

Not cheaper unless you have a cow.

As expensive as whipped cream as you're better off just buying butter.

When draining, if you make bread or other recipes, the butter milk liquid from the butter can be utilized rather than tossing, although while I have unfortunately been relearning to cook, I imagine more experienced folks could offer many add'l insights.

Enjoy video. No just behind the food processor a jar of peanut butter you should make your own peanut butter too it’s extremely simple. Take dry unsalted roasted nuts, blended up until it becomes a butter consistency. Some people add sugar to it but I prefer to add honey if it gets too runny adding a little bit more honey will sticking it up again. I also make what the kids call fancy peanut butter. This is where I add cinnamon allspice and some pure vanilla extract blend it all up add a little honey to make it a little bit thicker and sweeten it up. And everybody seems to love it. I’ve been told that it is much better than the store-bought peanut butter give it a try.

I have a ninja and was wondering if you tried making butter with the tall blender or with the blade of the processor... And out of the 3, which did you find worked best? Thank you for the video 😊

I Love this. I like the kids in the background singing too, mine are older now and I miss those days (believe it or not)! I think you just dumped that buttermilk down the sink, though. Can that be used for pancakes or something? Thsnks for this awesome vid
@AQuiverofRoses4 жыл бұрын
It definitely could be saved and used (it is buttermilk like you’d buy at the store) at that point though our family wasn’t really into buttermilk. Maybe in the future. :-)

I tried this in a blender and my heavy cream wouldn't turn yellow and become butter. It stayed white and tasted creamy, sort of like Cool Whip. I suspect your Ninja food processor probably has a more powerful motor than my cheap "Mainstays" blender. Did your Ninja come with a dough blade, or is that something extra you have to purchase?
@joymelcher38114 жыл бұрын
This batch of butter did not get firm for me: any reason? This hasn’t happened before 😞
@Eyeofthemourning4 жыл бұрын
Most food processors take longer but the Ninja is way more powerful. Thanks for the video. This is especially useful with all the grocery stores out if butter due to hoarders but plenty of cream.
@bubbalo33884 жыл бұрын
Not knocking the video, but to make use of leftover whipping cream i'd do it. To save a couple of dollars probably not becasue the time and energy to clean up will eat up the two dollars.

Good. Sounds like you don’t need children.
@joshuawiedenbeck6944 Жыл бұрын
Speaking as a parent, if that small amount of noise in the background is too much for you, then you are definitely not cut out to have kids. That is a well-behaved, low noise level from kids.
@alesiadixon3114 жыл бұрын
Great video, you saved me from getting a stand mixer bc I have that same ninga. Keep that butter milk, it’s butter milk that you buy in the store, also blend 3x with ice water, strain the ice,, it will get the excess butter milk out and make your butter last longer.

Thank you this was an awesome video to watch I'm a beginner at this.
@Layput4 жыл бұрын
Buying butter is much cheaper than making your own. Take into consideration your labor cost, your power cost, your equipment cost, cleaning cost, your time, etc. You obviously have too much time on your hands so it's OK for you to make your own butter.

I can’t find butter in any store right now but there’s heavy whipping cream. & I need butter. So here I am.
@krystalgalvan72554 жыл бұрын
How about my health cost? At least people who make their own butter know what’s going into it. Not chemicals. Clearly you’ve never read the ingredients label on the back of store bought butter. Lol
